Bronna
Our group is doing our annual haunt visit this weekend, and we were thinking about trying The Reds Hall of Fame Grill. What are the prices like and how is the food? We wanted to try it on our August visit but we had kids with us and they are a bit impatient, so we opted for Festhaus instead. Darth Munson
Prices are about average restaurant prices. I got a burger and fries. It was pretty good. One word of advice. Upgrade to fries. The chips suck. Lol. But I would recommend it to any Reds fan. Just for the decor alone
thedevariouseffect
I liked the chips, they were pretty good, the fries were a great upgrade however. Appetizers are good, I liked the buffalo dip I got..The red leg burger is an easy winner.
BoddaH1994
If you really want to treat yourself, eat the ribs. They're a little pricy - about $25 with fries - but they're awesome.
thedevariouseffect
I have yet to try those, but I will at some point. Also speaking of food, any halloweeekends specific food like @ CP coming out? I didn't really look too much on Fri with the rain out, but just curious
upstop
Their fish and chips was really good. Saw some big portions coming out for all entrees. The wait time for a table was long, so we ate at the bar. Prices are average, liquor prices were same as throughout the park and just a bit pricey. The artifacts are really interesting to view.
medford
Ate there in early August on my only trip there w/o the kids. Both my wife & I enjoyed our meal greatly. Prices compare pretty favorably to prices you'd expect at any sit down chain type restaurant in the area, quality of food compares favorably w/ your typical sit down chain restuarant in the area. Then to top it all off, if your a Reds fan, the decor is outstanding. Overall, they have done an excellant job with the place, we went pretty early (11:30ish) middle of the week on a fairly light day, so I'm not sure what the crowds have been like. My hope is that the restaurant is killing it and leads to the redevlopment of the international street restuarant above the main gates along w/ a main gate renovation.

Bronna
I think we'll try it out! On the fish and chips, does anyone know what kind of fish it is? Cod, possibly?
coasterfanatic83
I thought the pulled pork was very good, as was the Redleg Burger, and the wings, and the ribs, and the chips, and the buffalo dip (I think there is a trend here). Prices are in the 9-12 dollar range, obviously depending on what you get. This place has established itself as a staple in my visits and I am very glad they decided to put it in. upstop
I think it's cod fish. Edit: This may help http://KICentral.com/photos/displayimage.php?album=344&pid=8316#top_display_media
Darth Munson
I must've got a bad order of the chips then. Mine were stale and had no seasoning. Gross.
medford
My wife got the chips with her meal and they were good, as were my fries. Don't know about your order Darth, but seems like many like them, perhaps you did just get a bad order.
Bronna
Thank you all for the input! I appreciate all the help. The menu pic was a great help! Thanks =)
ohiocolts
Just a warning, some of the prices have gone up by a couple dollars since that pick was taken, but overall food and service has been great so far.
Jr for Birdy
Having had about everything on the menu this season, I would say the Double Play Dog is the most under rated item on the menu, substitute fries for the chips and ask for extra chili and you might need a knife and fork, it's huge and delicious.
Hoeter
I got the boneless wings, order of 12, when I was at the KIC event a couple Sundays back. Had the opportunity to eat here. The wings were delicious, and the price was on par of a similar establishment outside of the park. I say try it, definitely the best food value in the park!
thedevariouseffect
Only thing btw that I don't like about reds grille.... Sticky floors, dunno if anyone else had the same problem that day or not
Scottzzz
The service at the bar most of this year was miserable. Especially during the Reds game when they had the beer special. The problem was there was never a full time bartender. They would have to wait on tables, run for food and condiments, cash people out, etc.. Many occasions I would have to wait 15 minutes just to get a drink. It got better toward the end when they added an extra person.

I know some ranking food peeps and I'll let them know of the issue. They may not be aware. I think that most can agree that, with the exception of the Opening Day hiccup, the service there is pretty good.
BansheeFanShe
My hubby and I have ate there a few times this season. We both thought the prices were reasonable and the food was pretty good. The portions are fairly large. I know I couldn't finish it all!
