First of all, if it was my desision, we wouldn't be going on a Saturday to Kings Island, because the later into the year you get the longer the lines and the more people there are. Especially on Saturdays. But there is supposed to be a cold front coming in later in the week (coldest air since April) and I was wondering what I should wear. I am thinking shorts and a hoodie because I tend to get hot easily and jeans might be uncomfortable if I get sweaty. What do you recommend? We are going on the 5th of October.

I would say jeans and hoodie, I was there last saturday and the hoodie came in handy when the sun went down. It wasnt crowded untill 6pm then the park was flooded with people. I got a locker and had my hoodie in it untill I needed it.

Well, if the forecast is calling for a high of 81 then I'd wear shorts and a tshirt during the day, and I'd keep a hoodie and jeans in the car. If needed, I could change into them if it got cool enough at night.

^ Re-entry is forbidden according to the 2013 Haunt map, and presumably according to signs at the turnstiles. I have no idea how it's enforced for season passholders scanning their pass for re-entry. Experimenting would mean getting shut out of the park for the rest of the night or having to purchase a ticket.

If for some reason I absolutely have to return to my car this Friday, I'll just buy a 2014 platinum pass and use my "free" admission.

It is easy for the park to enforce gold pass holders from reentering during Haunt. Just a matter of having an IT guy adjust the programming that checks if the pass has been used that day. Now if you want to reenter the park, no problem. Just buy another ticket.
