upstop Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 If you were promised a more intense Halloween Haunt by making it a pay as you go event...would you be willing to give up the Gold Pass Halloween Haunt visit perk? Quote
The Interpreter Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Yes. Then I wouldn't be paying for an event I'll most likely never attend. 4 Quote
BeastForever Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 If I want more intense scares I can just go to Dent or USS Nightmare... 3 Quote
fanofFirehawk Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 A more intense Haunt? God no no no... It is scary as is. A more awesome Haunt, I.E. purchasing movie rights, better theming ect. Now your talking. Maybe when I grow older. I'd also like a pass that would include this in its self. Maybe the Platinum pass... 2 Quote
Bennett Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 No. I don't think that you could get the " bang for the buck", either on our end, or CF's end. I enjoy the atmosphere of KI in the fall. Don't know that any significant changes would be warranted. The park looks tremendous coming in, the rides are strong, the haunts are fun, if not frightening. Would not change things. 4 Quote
Hoeter Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 I'd keep it as is...some people come for the rides and not for the Haunts. Why pay admission if all you're after is a 1:00am ride on The Beast? 10 Quote
zombieninja Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Halloween Haunt is great the way it is and I think the improvements are gradually done the correct way. If someone wants something more intense or scary, there are already other options in the Cincinnati area. 3 Quote
funpark Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 No,I go for the night rides not the Haunt. I don't really care for the Haunt . I love riding The Beast late at night though. 5 Quote
coasterfanatic83 Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 If I want more intense scares I can just go to Dent or USS Nightmare... Same here. If I want to pay more for a more intense haunt I will go elsewhere. 4 Quote
IndyGuy4KI Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Why can't they do both? I would think they could do an additional charge haunt or two on top of what they already do for more intensity. These would be advertised as a more intense/graphic haunt and reasoning for the additional charge. Of course you would have to notice the difference in the intensity with props, actors, etc... 3 Quote
upstop Posted October 9, 2013 Author Posted October 9, 2013 I like the idea of a pay as you go uber intense haunt!!!! Quote
