I personally think this ride will be a blast, becuase it's sort of un predictable, i have ridden a ride very similar to this one at Holiday World in Indiana, it was a lot of fun so, i hope Tazmanian Tyhoon is the same!

Personally I think that they all are going to be fun. Sure Tazmanian Typhoon will be awesome. But then I also think that the racing slides are pretty cool too, they could give those slides attitude and make it a great thing to watch.

I think that Tazmania Typhoon will be GREAT fun and look forward to riding it. Hence, Mrs. Chef and I will need a baby sitter. Any volunteers?

I think this is going to be awesome.. I am getting my first season pass because of the new addition.. It never felt to me worth the drive with the old waterpark. But now It will be worth it to stay now over night and do a two day park for me...

i think its going to be a blast but do you think it might have some safty issuse because what if you have a lot of speed and get to the top of that toube and flip over and land on there heads. but i dought that could happend but it kinda looks like you could thoe

There are cracks with water coming out each side to keep you from going past verticle. Plus it makes sure you dont go straight down. Youll get some back and fourth movement.

it looks like a kick ass ride, i know i would go on it over and over again if i could, it also looks cool with the big funnel.

It will be a blast. Just have lots of weight in your tube. The one at Holiday World was a blast this should be even better.

I think it will only be better because you won't have to carry your own tube up the steps. It looks to me like it is the exact same ride, which is still awsome.

I think it looks totally sweet. it is so different than other waterpark style rides. Its yells innovation and experimentation. And in all honesty, kinda looks like a piece of art work, as well as a water slide.

They say it will be in total darkness. I don't know how much I believe that, but it would be awsome if it were. I'm looking forward to the funnel the most. It would be cool to feel like a piece of poo being flushed.

As a former victim of ecoli food posioning who spend countless PAINFUL hours on the toilet...I look forward to experiencing this new ride.

And I tell you, ecoli is no joke. It's much worse than salminela. I had diarrhea more than 20 times daily and lost 30 pounds quickly. The strain of ecoli that I had, 157, caused some fatalities in Japan. Luckily, I wasn't one of them.

Good thing you weren`t one of the unlucky ones Italianchef! BuddaH1994, I don`t believe that Tasmanian Typhoon wikll be in total darkness. You will start out in an inclosed tube, which maybe somewhat dark, but I`m sure some light will permeate through the tube. Also, the actual funnel and the highlight of the ride, will be in daylight. Does anyone know if PKI will have a viewing area like at Holiday World?

Yes it will basically be pitch black inside the tube before the funnel. That is the way it was at holiday world. The tube is not paper thin like the twister slide, it is much thicker and painted. The only light that might come in is if they put some vent holes in top, which I think Holiday World had one or two.

From what I can tell from the pictures, there will not be a bridge/platform like at Holiday World but rather a grass hill in front of the funnel. Now, don't know if that means it will have that hill or not since its just the animation, but I don't think PKI would make it so you can't see at all inside.
