This is very good news. They have a great team, and it's clear with this announcement that food improvements will continue to be a high priority. Enjoyable meals are certainly part of many guests' "best day of the year".

Anyone lucky enough to be invited to Banshee's VIP reception will certainly be in for a treat.

The link says he's Kings Island's first executive chef. I'm fairly certain there was an executive chef when I first worked in Food Service back in '89. IIRC his first name was Frank, and he had an Italian last name. I know he was in charge of food quality, and I remember specifically that he complimented me on my display case in the Bakery during Winterfest '90, and I got an Apple Card for it. Unless his title was something other than "executive chef". Where's WooferBearATL when you need him? I know he would remember!

Probably the first person with the title - not necessarily the first person to have a similar position.

Again, BIG BIG news from the park. I'm very happy about this.

The disgusting food is a thing of the past, although the service needs help every once in a while.

I visited the park a lot this year and really grew tired of LaRosas, Skyline, and Hanks being the only relatively inexpensive options. I'm most excited about the variety that this will bring as well as the food quality that will make its way to the park in 2014.

I really enjoyed the Reds Grille at Kings Island. I actually spent money that I don't usually spend at the park this year.

We really liked this one. The last time we went in, it was bad. Bad service, cold food, and they made it right. Fed 3 people for $12, too. I was honestly shocked at the service because we had really good service until then. I love the garlic parm boneless wings. Oh so tasty.

I understand that terp...but those are bigger entities, taking up unneeded space and supplying a product that is less than healthy and in

some cases, not even delictable...(alright...you got me on graeters...it is delicious to most).

I wasn't too serious...until I thought about it. And in most cases...not even being a foodie at all...I would prefer the new found food carts to all the pretzel and nacho stands. It helps the local entrepreneur and offers better food options at much less real estate and with a higher intake of money.

It was just off the top of my dome. No thinking involved obviously.
