Ok, so over the weekend I did some work made $70. I was wondering how much does it cost to ride Slingshot? I was going to pay for my brother and I to ride it. How much does it usually cost on opening day?

I believe the most it can cost is $25 and the least is $5. Rate is adjusted based on how crowded the park is.

Be prepared for a possible letdown. I know some people that say it is the scariest ride in the park. I personally find it to be less thrilling than watching paint dry.

Your level of thrill may vary.

Skyscraper at Cedar Point is by far my favorite of the up charge rides. Slingshot is fun for a once in a while thing but I wouldn't pay more than the $5 or $10 price per person.

Want a thrill? About halfway up the initial launch, start pondering how reliable steel cables really are. ... it adds a priceless kick of breathless consternation to the initial drop-back.

Brought to you by Bone Head... when you just can't help but choose the wrong times to think of such things!

Sling Shot is not a ride I'm willing to do. Then again, Drop Tower gives me the jibblies. I've done Drop Tower once just to say I did, and that was quite enough for me. Not a fan of any drop ride beyond 150 feet tall or so.

Even the Carowinds Drop Tower filled me with regret halfway up the ride. Though I thoroughly enjoy Liberty Launch, oddly enough. I was not nearly man enough to even consider Power Tower.

Skyscraper @ CP is AMAZING, just a great ride, especially if you can do 360's or dive bomb head first straight down. Great stuff.

I will second that. I absolutely LOVE Skyscraper. I can't get enough of it.

The backward portion of Skyscraper is so so but the going forwards part is some serious business, nothing like diving head first towards the concrete.
