KingsIsland1972 Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I know I'm ready to dig into a Big Bowl of Banshee Ice Cream and A HUGE Juicy Burger From the Reds Hall Of Fame Grille! What's Your Tasty Treat??? 2 Quote
Tr0y Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Blue ice cream would be me first pick, I'd like to try Banshee twist ice cream as well. 3 Quote
coasterfanatic83 Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Reds HOF Grille pulled pork and saratoga chips. 2 Quote
Jr for Birdy Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Reds HOF chilli cheese dog with fries instead of the chips. Can't remember the name of the dog but you need a fork.... Boom! The ribs are really good too. Probably eating at the chicken shack first visit though, and I've been craving a funnel cake with strawberries and some vanilla chocolate swirl ice cream. 1 Quote
Hoeter Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Believe it or not, I didn't have a blue ice cream until KIC Day in September. Been coming to the park since I was little and I will be 27 in 3 months! That same day, I tried the Reds Hall of Fame Grille for the first time also. I was pleased with both and plan on having them again this season! 4 Quote
Kat Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Funnel cake. I don't need the calories but I want it lol The Earth is the proper name of a planet, and thus should always be capitalized. Quote
Diamondback FOF Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Haven't had funnel cake in a couple years, so I want that. And the Banshee twist ice cream. Blue ice cream would be nice too. Also, the Chicken Shack. I've heard the hand breaded chicken is very delicious! Of course, the chicken is the only thing I'm likely to try anytime soon... Quote
CoasterOhio Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Blue Ice creme. :3 Banshee Twist of course. Quote

jcgoble3 Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I honestly don't understand the worship of blue ice cream at KI. I tried it once and did not like it at all. The chocolate is OK, but the blue stuff tasted terrible to me. And I'd rather have Graeter's than that soft-serve crap anyway. jcgoble3, waiting for the firestorm 1 Quote
Diamondback FOF Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Ya know, I do love me some Graeters. But I also love some goooood soft serve! Quote
Gemstone023 Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I'm thinking cherry ICEE and Reds Hall of Fame buffalo chicken dip. Of course, my nieces won't actually let me sit down long enough to eat at Reds HOF, so in reality probs two ICEEs and a pretzel! Quote
vermillionlove Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I'm ready for some fresh cut fries and cheese dip please! i'd love to try the Banshee twist, too. 1 Quote

I hope they have the pepperoni pretzel back. It disappeared late last season. That thing was absolutely delicious. Transmitted from Wild Space via my datapad's DROID brain Quote
Sebastien6221 Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Not really a "treat" per say, but I will probably eat at Red's HoF, good food, good prices, great portions. 2 Quote

spitfire Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Blue ice cream and an ice cold beer in the bier garten...though not at the same time 1 Quote
Diamondback FOF Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 The Banshee Ice Cream: pretty good stuff The hand breaded chicken tenders: they were okay. Not the greatest, but still good. Very juicy and tender. However, this juiciness was kind of a watery, bland taste and the seasoning in the breading wasn't potent enough. The dipping sauce: I'm picky, and didn't love it, but I did like it more the more I ate it. VERY strong flavor with a mix of tastes The Texas toast: yummmm. It was soooo good!! 3 Quote
KingsIsland1972 Posted April 18, 2014 Author Posted April 18, 2014 Well...My first day back to KI was Media Day. And so, my first "tasty treat" ended up pulling me out of the middle of the ride line of Banshee. I had an Oj and donut. I was starving and didn't want to ride on an empty stomach. That said, I ended at the back of the line and missed riding the Banshee in the dark of the morning. Now on a positive note (eveything we did on Media Day was a positive note)..lol, I can say I was the first to ride Banshee at Sunrise. Chicken Shack might become a quick favorite. It was delish and the dipping sauce HIT THE SPOT! Shout out to the Texas Toast that came with the meal. Yummmy Fun Filled Day! heehee. (Oh, I had a Banshee Twist Cone for every ride I took on the Banshee to Celebrate)(4) 3 Quote
Roarbot Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 We had the Pizza meal deal at Festhaus and Banshee twist ice cream. The Banshee Brew is new, it's a red creme soda float. Barq's with blue ice cream. Didn't try it...yet. 7 Quote
