Europe recognizes the role of puffery and satire in advertising. The USA, by contrast, does so far more sparingly. Oddly, the European libel laws are far more constricting than in the USA.

We used to do the same. The nurse's station at the exit of the Crystal Beach Cyclone comes to mind. Oh well common sense is long gone in this regard, but to be fair we have more common sense than them in some other regards.
