KevKenny
Here is a video of it in action. Says that the real deal will be full circuit.
thekidd33
I wonder if this may be headed to Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

The Interpreter
Sigh. Zamperla. Sigh, again. Tell me again about Knoebels Grove Amusement Resort's Power Surge.
Son of King Demon Bat
The green lantern logo was from a el loco coaster built in Australia

Son of King Demon Bat
Me too! I've been waiting for a new 4D
stashua123
Maybe Kentucky Kingdom? Ed Hart was known to buy prototypes such as T2 and Quake from Vekoma in the 1990's and he also bought a prototype Hyper GTX Lightning Run this year. Maybe T2, Amphitheater and River Rapids are not the only thing new/returning and it would fit in with Kentucky Kingdoms budget with 7$ million. Hmmmm...
upstop
I can't see this as much of a full circuit steel coaster with the amount of steel used in the partial prototype track.....it seems rather gimmicky to me.
JTW
A shuttle does seem like the best application, at least in this early stage.
Vortex
If you get a chance to look at the seats there's a Green Lantern logo on them From what I read the seats are just some left over parts they had so they used them on the coaster to save money.
JTW
And it's a work in progress prototype.
Son of King Demon Bat
The ride is like a Zac Spin.
KevKenny
This is like a Zac Spin had a baby with SurfDog
TombRaiderFTW
Except with only partially controlled spinning, whereas Surf Dog is fully controlled and ZacSpins are not controlled at all. Notice the magnetic fins on the track and the way the seats spin more as they pass over them.
RollerNut
Part of me wants it to go to Carowinds just to spite all of those smug enthusiasts who are so sure they're getting a giga. How could we not be sure.... Who would have ever guess little old Carowinds would get a giga coaster before Kings Island.
Joncars05
I honestly do not see the appeal of this type of coaster (4D). It just seems so gimmicky to me.
Son of King Demon Bat
I rode Insane at Grona Lund in Sweden and it's amazing It's like riding the Zipper and an extreme wild mouse. The ride is very disorienting and never the same twice! It very re rideable. You really feel like your going to fall out of it! it's SCARY FUN!
The Interpreter
Zipper is a registered trademark for a particular carnival ride, and, as such, is always capitalized here.

How could we not be sure.... See, that's the type of attitude that gets people into trouble. I don't like making concrete, definitive statements about which park is getting what until the park itself confirms it, because if I'm wrong I look like a fool and if I'm right, everybody's going to be too excited about the new attraction to care. He who never makes predictions is never wrong.

bkroz
Even when the park says it officially, you can't be too sure! Like Drop Zone. Not the first one. Or the third one. The one in between that never materialized.
The Interpreter
Or Indiana Timberliners. They went on a Voyage. Haven't been seen since. Perhaps they went to Hades? 360, I tell ya'.
Hank
Returning to topic... This type of ride, should it be a full circuit thing, would require a few lift hills as the weight of the train is different with each boat load and, with the various other hills needed to keep the cars flipping, there would not be enough space to have the track long enough to do the expected outcome justice - therefore requiring extra lift hills to keep the train going. Another example of what I'm getting at are the Arrow suspended coasters. There's not a whole lot of ride between lift hills because that's as far as it can go (for the times).
