WindingSon
https://www.visitkingsisland.com/article/media-center/Down-Home-Countrys-run-ends-this-Sunday Did anyone else see this show? I thought it was pretty good, even though I didn't recognize all of the songs.
Italian Job 2005
Thank God it's ending. Italian Job 2005 did not like said show. Just my opinion.

jcgoble3
To paraphrase my mother, the female singers' outfits were about as country as Mom's tennis shoes.

MDMC01
I watched in when I worked in the Festhaus a number of years ago (it was good), however I've not seen it this year. However, I did hear it once while passing through and I did notice the singers were a bit better than a few years ago. I was too busy riding Viking Fury, getting a great view from the Effiel Tower and waiting for Cirque to catch any of the shows last Sunday.
dtk1378
The singers were no doubt talented, country music is meant to be played with REAL instruments though, which really killed the show for me.
calakapepe
I saw the show this year from many angles.. usually couldnt see the entire stage unfortunately. I enjoyed the music, though its not my favorite.
upstop
I miss the live musicians in the park. "Off the Charts" is a wonderful show with a live band. Plus the KI Band (Clowns) Id love to see more street musicians. At one time there was a rock band in the Biergarten. I remember the Country Bandstand in Rivertown too. Who else remembers the Tavelling Medicine Show (a horse drawn cart sans horse) that was at the "backend" of the park when its boundry ended at Antique Treats and (basketball) court in Coney Mall? I even thought that they could have a coffee shop type show in Starbucks. It would be fun to sip coffee and listen to acoustic guitar every few hours.
