diamonbackandbeastlover
Is it a park song or a Fun TV song?
electricsun
What about Lush Life from Zara Larrson? Similar to Sia/Rhianna beats...
jdawg1998
What kind of tempo are we talking here? (fast, slow, moderate, etc) Moderate. Starts off slow. I don't know. About to go punch a wall...
Thrill_Biscuit
EDIT - like the remix of "Sky Full of Stars" that plays around opening time, there are a lot of songs with a lot of remixes.
silver2005
If I were you, I'd keep some paper and a pen in my pocket for the next time it gets played and write the lyrics down.
malem
I'm not sure any other park fan site would instantly team up like this to find a song stuck in a member's head. If you still know the tune... perhaps you could hum it to someone who would be willing to hum it (or play it on a musical instrument) into a YouTube video? (Don't look at me.)
jdawg1998
electricsun is still on the right track. It's that same style. But not that song. I tried humming it everywhere possible. I've asked 40 people at once while working. I've gone through the Billboard Top 100 charts for both 2016 and 2015 and haven't found it. And it's also not a song from ERT. It plays during normal park operating hours.
Thrill_Biscuit
Great idea, malem! Hum the tune (since it's stuck in your head) and save it to youtube, then post the video here and we'll take a shot at it.
malem
Not everyone has the personality type that could pull off singing into YouTube and posting the link on a public forum.

Thrill_Biscuit
Quoting malem: Not everyone has the personality type that could pull off singing into YouTube and posting the link on a public forum. But if it will cure the madness...
PiperArcher
I wonder if the Shazam app would be able to pick it up if you sang/hummed what you know to it.
jcgoble3
I wonder if the Shazam app would be able to pick it up if you sang/hummed what you know to it. Failing that, also give SoundHound a try. I've had a lot of success identifying songs via SoundHound, although I've only tried the singing/humming search once.
jdawg1998
I have used every app possible. I've hummed it, I've sung it, I've even attempted to play it on a virtual keyboard. I don't know what to do with my life anymore. This has consumed every waking hour...
Thrill_Biscuit
Here's the link to the Musipedia keyboard melody search... http://www.musipedia.org/js_piano.html EDIT: Wow, I have to be quicker with this...
silver2005
Ok, clues so far- -female artist -octave jump - a word with a long u - slow start, moderate tempo - electronic Question- when you say the singer in the chorus 'moves up in pitch', does the whole song do that? (trying to determine if the song has a key change)
Thrill_Biscuit
Well, in other news, after ten long years, I finally rode Vortex again today! All is right with the world. Now back to this actually fun and intriguing music search!
jdawg1998
About the pitch change: (considering the fact I have absolutely no knowledge of music)...it reminds me of, to keep it related to Kings Island, a roller coaster. It goes up and up and up and then back down.

PiperArcher
Here's a thought, if you can hum part of it, download an app that hears and displays the pitch you are humming at, then write down and post the notes in order. The one I have on my phone is PanoTuner. Should be free. Maybe we can find it that way...
Thrill_Biscuit
Cool song! Bouncy Motown vibe! Maybe there's an electronic remix out there? Love the stepping semitones in this one!
Thrill_Biscuit
There's an electronic-sounding song with high-range, female vocals called "Hold My Hand" by Jess Glynne, that I hear often there at the park.
