matt112986
I'm curious to see what the KICentral community would like to see in a revamped Action Theater given the Mass Effect and Plants vs. Zombies rides. First if given the choice between Mass Effect or Plants vs. Zombies which would you rather have? Second, if Cedar Fair and EA are making each ride unique which EA property would you like to see? Would you put this choice over Mass Effect and/or Plants vs. Zombies? Third, given a choice of any feasible game franchise which would be your dream ride? Keep in mind Nintendo has a deal with Universal and Warner Brothers properties would likely be in Six Flags domain. Some popular EA franchises to jog the memory (in no particular order) - Crysis Mirrors Edge Wing Commander Command and Conquer (most notably the Tiberium and Red Alert entries) Dragon Age Spore Titanfall Dead Space
Creed Bratton
1.) Neither 2.) No 3.) NonePersonally, I am not a fan of adding anything to Action Theater that isn't really anything other than a stationary Boo Blasters (I perceive Plants Vs. Zombies an interactive game where you shoot at a screen) where you shoot at targets. (Hope that makes sense, I'm exhausted) I would rather Action Theater be filled with Action or an Adventure, not sit on a seat that moves less than the seats used to.
purdude86
I have to agree a bit. I think the plants vs/ zombies attraction sounds interesting and fun, but at the same time would want seats that give lots of motion. Think Mirror's Edge could make a cool 3d film/ride.

You don't have to perceive what Plants vs. Zombies is as the ride is built and open. https://www.carowinds.com/what-s-new/plants-vs-zombies - The ride seats move and you have blasters. The Mass Effect ride is still shrouded but looks to be a pure motion based ride to me.
Dr Zhark
I would not mind seeing Titanfall honestly......

Just another reason I wouldn't want this ride in our Action Theater.
marth555
Mirrors Edge would be cool as a Soarin type ride
RingMaster
Even though I am a massive Mass Effect fan, the franchise itself isn't family-friendly, especially when compared to Plants vs. Zombies, so I do not understand why Cedar Fair would even attempt to base an attraction around it. Most of the other games you listed are the same way, such as Dragon Age, Crysis, and Dead Space (although DS could definitely work as a haunted house). The only games I could see working would be Mirrors Edge (which you mentioned) and the Need for Speed franchise, both of which have similarities to previous Action Theater films from the past (007: License to Thrill and Days of Thunder, respectively).
The Interpreter
I'm always amazed the anti-gun groups haven't gone after amusement parks for "teaching our kids it's okay to shoot." Yet.
shark6495
I wouldn't care either way if it means the building will get used Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
rhyano
Here is something i just though of, considering I'm a huge fan of classic areas, I don't think having a "Plants Vs Zombies " inside Coney Mall would be a fitting idea
shark6495
.... Was there more reason to this? So I'll bite(pun intended)... Why not? Right off of Coney Mall you have an Alien Spaceship, a stunt coaster, and a creature (Beast).... If this were to go in Action Theater it's no better or worse.....plus with the removal of the Coney Mall sign and the same music played in all areas what difference does it make?
