Since talk of Winterfest has started again in some other threads, here is a video of Illuminations from YouTube.  It was one of my favorite parts of Winterfest '05.

Swan Lake, where Diamondback's splashdown is now. I am pretty sure.

Yep.  The barge that had the Christmas trees on it remained in Swan Lake much of the next season, but it was moved kind of out of sight back behind the Tropical Paradise drink stand which is seldom open.

Starting at 6:30, it's literally a "generic" version of the music from Disney's Fantasmic. Hahah! Very cool though! I'd never seen this. Thanks!

Loved it. I went several times that year and I would do it again. The lights , the atmosphere, just a different kind of fun all around.

Wow, I don't know if I've ever browsed through that photo album before.  That's a stunning amount of work they went to for that event.  I guess maybe it paid off, as some have suggested....
