malem
Riding in the back was most effective. If a doctor prescribes roller coasters, I wonder if an argument could be made for FSA reimbursement for a Platinum Pass? Too bad Cedar Point just got rid of their coaster that was really effective at knocking things loose. http://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/research-finds-thrilling-cure-kidney-stones-roller-coasters-n654576
Magenta Lizard
I've encountered internal pulling on different rides before, so it doesn't surprise me. I've had a couple times where it felt like I was passing a kidney stone on Banshee, but I wouldn't call it painless. It was less pain than I've heard people describe for normal passage of one (heard it likened to childbirth), tho.
RollerColt
It that ever happens to me, God forbid, then why the heck not? Haha!  It would probably disturb the other passengers though, with the screaming and agonizing and such...
King Ding Dong
Nope, nope, nope. Oxycodone followed up by the first available surgical appointment. Edit: I suppose this could make for a good NC-17 Haunt attraction Let's just say when I had mine I experienced what the doctors called "referred pain". It felt like my left testicle was in a vice. When animals are in extreme pain they are very dangerous.
silver2005
I wonder if riding a stand up coaster would be even more effective, especially for the guys....
Existential
Would it get caught in the netting? Certainly wouldnt want to be throwing popcorn up in the air to my mouth that day man. Awkward circumstance. Imagine the lost and found scenarios. Cmon. Might chip someone's glasses. The ramifications are overindulging in giggles. 11Nolan11
I actually passed a kidney stone at Kings Island last year! It was the last operating day of the year and I was going with my younger brother and a friend. I tried and tried to pass it before we left that morning, but just couldn't do it. So I drank close to a gallon of water on the way there (were about 2 hours away) and as soon as we got to the park I ran to the Festhaus bathroom and passed it right away

Magenta Lizard
Just to clarify, when I said "passed" I meant from the kidney to the bladder. I don't know what to make of it if the article is really suggesting passing out of the body... I guess it is, but that sounds like such a ludicrous idea to promote, I didn't recognize it's what they meant.
Tanna
I'll have to test that sometime- I once sat through a movie with a kidney stone, but they were comp tickets to the ultimate of EZ boys seats, and I didn't wanna miss the film. darkrider68
Four years ago, at Kennywood's Phantom Fright Nights; riding the Exterminator in the dark, knocked one loose. Â What a pain, physically and financially that turned out to be. Â Changed my diet since then. Hope that helps for the future.
