Wood or Steel?

Featured Replies

So what is your favorite type of rollercoaster? I like Steel, but The Beast is one of my all time favorites, so i am kinda torn.

To me, its all about the wood. I like steel, but the feeling of riding a wood coaster is way better.

Hmmmm. If you would have asked me this question in 99 I would have said steel but I'm going to have to go with wood. Nothing can match the out of control feeling you get on a wood coaster. biggrin.gif

I love all roller coasters but I REALLY love wooden because I like the roughness, the better feeling of speed, and the loudness. laugh.gif

I am torn, I like steel for its massiveness, hight, speed, different stuff that can be added on it. Like the LIM launch. But wood has that out of control feel, and the dence surroundings.

I like steel because there is really no limits on it, but I like wood because of it's natural out of control feel.

I like steel the best for its smoothness and speed. I like wood too, but just like steel better.

I want to see PKI build a Wooden Giga.. impressive it would be "Second Cousin Of Beast!" laugh.gif

Wood is my preference I love the ricky sound.

Wood sounds like a biplane

Steel sounds like a jet. laugh.gif
