Figured this constituted its own thread since it covers a couple of shows.

Several lights including movers (which we didn’t have last year for the regular season) have been added to the International St Bandstand. This is in addition to the massive new sound system.

Set construction for Totally 80’s is also in its early stages.

Both Playlist Live and Totally 80’s open May 24th. The Grand Carnival celebration begins June 15th.

 

I can not wait to see those lights in action. That is a great setup.

It’s nice to see a summer production return to the international showplace.  While the dog shows the past few years were cute, this venue Is finally getting a better entertainment line up.  Maybe someday the international showplace can get some much needed remodel/upgrades so that it can also be utilized for Winterfest in some capacity.

Toy Factory is in there at KD. Currently the corners is that the pitch of the walkways would create a dangerous situation with any amount of ice or snow. I’d love to see this place get some love too.

Rehearsals for the country show in the Festhaus, Playlist Live and the 80s show are wrapping up for their debut this weekend.  I didn’t get a picture of the 80s show since I didn’t really catch them in action. The country show looked good for the few minutes I saw and Playlist Live certainly will have an amazing year.

Good to see the River City Band back in action.
