Oldiesmann Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 Looks like KI isn't going to be the only CF park making a big announcement on Thursday... With the removal of Stinger last year (and the recent closure of Dinosaurs Alive, which I believe was pretty close to Stinger), could this point to Dorney finally getting a new (non-relocated) coaster for the first time in over a decade? 3 Quote
Rivertown Rider Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 They had went to the local authorities and gotten approved for water park additions so I don't think they will add a coaster next year (even though they could use it). I could see them getting Winterfest though. Quote
VekomaRulz Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 I'm going to remain optimistic and hope for a coaster but I know it is probably unlikely. Quote
SonofBaconator Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 I'm trying to remember if CF installed any coasters when F325 was built. Usually if a park installs a big B&M, the rest of the parks in the chain are lucky to get a coaster that same season- unless its something cheap like RMC or GCI. A raptor wouldn't be too far off but with Hydra in the same park its unlikely. Quote
VekomaRulz Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 I am probably over analyzing this but All Season FastLane Plus went from $125 in 2018 and 2019 to $175 in 2020. Maybe there is an increase because there is going to be some new addition that will be on FastLane? Quote
Oldiesmann Posted August 15, 2019 Author Posted August 15, 2019 New multi-level interactive water attraction, Seaside Splashworks, coming next year. https://www.dorneypark.com/blog/2019/august/dorney-park-2020-capital-project 1 Quote
