Kennywood removing FOUR rides

Sad but im sure some is Maintenance related.

Does anyone believe that there is a chance the park may attempt to sell these rides or are they destined for the scrap heap? The more I think about this the more upset I get.

Very sad, looks like a massive budget cut, Kennywood is hard to love these days, the park looked like it was facing an identity crisis last season.

There’s a possibility for selling but given that most of these rides are very old I’m betting a big part of their removal is maintenance and service life issues. If so they’re probably more apt to be scrapped than sold.

Someone needs to save the Kangaroo.  It's the last Flying Coaster (model of flat ride) in the world.

Kennywood is a fine park.

Over the years they've been able to find a good balance between a classic amusement park of years gone by and modern one. I hope they do not go to far towards the modern and lose what makes them special.
