SonofBaconator
As of now, excluding the pandemic, Knott's is the only park in the Cedar Fair chain that operates year round. What are the chances of more parks offering year round schedules? The two that make the most sense would be California's Great America and Carowinds. California's Great America because its in a populated region that doesn't get harsh winter weather like other parks do. Carowinds just because they mentioned it a while back. Would it be advantageous to make these parks year round or would it cost more money than its worth? What about other parks I haven't mentioned?
Oldschool75
I believe there are a lot of changes coming to CF from what I have observed with job postings and info I have heard. I think they can be viable if they operate like Dollywood.
BoddaH1994
^ Correct. Carowinds, and I think maybe Kings Dominion were offering full time ride op positions.

Yep. There’s evidence of that too. Not sure if it would influence their decision with KD, as that is their red headed step child, but it’s certainly possible
disco2000
Year round operation would be one more way to increase season pass costs and daily admission cost as well...or an incentive to give away the gate even more...

SonofBaconator
I wonder how much revenue another small year round park would bring to the chain. Cedar Fair offers quality service and attractions but they would definitely be more sustainable if they were generating more revenue year round.
