December 9, 200421 yr A giant sized B&M Inverted coaster like Montu or Alpengeist. Actually a small B:TR type invert would still be awesome. I'd also love an Intamin Impulse, or a smaller twister style woodie ala Viper or Roar.
December 9, 200421 yr I really dont think PKI is going to put in anything too big but I would love to see that spongebob boating school and a nice flat ride.
December 9, 200421 yr All I want is for people to come up with a good, sensible reason why PKI would not install a large coaster. Think they're not into that? Wrong. The Beast - opened as the tallest, fastest, and longest wooden coaster in the world Vortex - opened as the tallest, fastest, and most inversions for a coaster. Son of Beast - Still the tallest, fastest, and only looping coaster in the world.
December 9, 200421 yr Will PKI add another huge coaster in the future? Without a doubt. When? No idea, probably a few years from now atleast. Why? The park's got a great balance going on with rides for every type of rider, great theming that they are in the process of updating and adding a bit more Paramount flavor too, and shifting the park's gears more towards a Disney/Universal park, that's why you're seeing the classic flats being removed so often. I think that there will always be some classic flats in PKI, in Coney Mall, maybe even a couple classic flats added to Coney within a few years, but the park is just trying to come up with some unique attractions. Like it or not, IJST is an innovative attraction, as is Scooby-Doo and Tomb Raider: The Ride, and it will be a great attraction for the park in the same way Adventure Express is. Think about those guests that ride nothing bigger than AE, I was one once not too long ago(2001), and I know if I still was I'd be absolutely thrilled about IJST. Finally a coaster I could ride aside from kids coasters and AE. I think IJST is an excellent addition to PKI, and I think they are doing a great job and I personally can't wait to see them try their hand at theming a crazy coaster, whenever they get around to it. Eitherway, in 10 years, I think PKI is going to once again be a major competitor in the industry. But in hindsight, I'm not sure they've ever lost that.
December 10, 200421 yr Trust me, I'm not knocking IJ:ST. I just get sick of hearing all these people saying that there's no way that PKI will ever build a large coaster. I want to know how exaclty they know this since they do not work at PKI in ride development/planning? Or, are not even privy to that kind of information. I believe I heard it best over at Coasterbuzz...Those that know, don't talk, those who talk, don't know.
