UncleHenry
Wanna know how my last 2 days have been? Keep reading. Dont want to? Then well thats your problem. Well yesterday, I woke up at 12:15 PM to prevent any cases of the munchies. As you may have learned from a previous post of mine, you can't eat or drink before the surgery to get wisdom teeth out. Well we get underway, and arrive at the doctors. While I wait, I listen to music on my MP3 player. I don't quite remember how long we waited, but it was awhile. I get called in, take my seat in the chair, and they poke something in my arm and put a mask over my nose. "We're gonna give you something to relax." Then I woke up. I must have been knocked out instantly, because I do not remember anything after he said that. As I said, I woke up, and was hurried out to my car. I notice that something is in my mouth, but can't feel it much. In fact, I can't feel my mouth at all. I get home, watch TV, and sleep. All I can eat is cold stuff like yogurt and frosty. I go to sleep in my family room because I can't get up. The next morning, I can feel my mouth again. My mouth finally stops bleeding (the thing that was in my mouth was gause we had to keep changing). I rent "Dawn of the Dead" on InDemand, and get through the first half. I pause it for a second, and I can't get it back. I keep getting "the movie cannot be accessed". I still haven't seen the ending. Oh well. So in review, I only threw up once, my face is so swolen I look like Eddie Murphy in Nutty Professor, and My mouth still hurts since the anestetic wore off. I hope to be well enough at 6 to post and run the challenge. If I dont get on by 6:15, then the challenge is beinig postponed until after New Years. I still hope to post the challenge though. flightoffear1996
I had my wisdom teeth pulled. All I remeber is sitting down in an all white room and the surgen asking me how I felt. I told him my stomache hurts a little and they stuck a IV in my arm and that was that. I woke up feeling drunker than I dont know what and went home and played Socom 2. It took about 3 days to get back to full recovery. Reall didnt hurt too much but my mouth was sore for awhile.
CoastersRZ
I had my wisdom teeth out before I started my junior year of high school. I remember sitting in the chair of the room, but I don`t remember anything else. Apparantly I was awake and talking to my mom and the doctor when I left, but I don`t remember it. Also, apparantly I was awake and talking in the car at Krogers when my mom got some medicine for me, but I have no recollection of that. I just remember waking up on the couch in my family room. I hope you feel better UncleHenry!
Alien Seed
This really makes me wonder how the wisdom teeth situation was handled hundreds and thousands of years ago. On another note, I still have mine for who knows how long.
familyman
In order for me to get braces I had to have 8 teeth taken out. 4 of them were my wisdom teeth. When I woke up these 2 young girls tried to move me to a recovery room and they dropped me and I fell flat on my face. An hour later they were trying to get me out of there and picked me up again and I ended up puking all over one of them. You should take a picture and post it. We promise not to laugh. Ok that’s a lie but it would be funny. Hope you feel better!
BoddaH1994
I've never had surgery. ::Knocks on wood:: But I imagine that it would be a rather terrifying thing to go through. The best of luck to you, and save and codeine that you don't use.

KIBeast
Well, I had an abcess tooth once. So, the suregeon decided he should go ahead and pull my wisdom teeth too since they were impacted (facing sideways). Anyway, I got the shot and the gas too. I woke up and had to sit in the chair for a little while. I must have been dreaming and it seemed very real because I was dreaming I was at work and was typing on my keyboard. Found out later that my mom said that I was holding my hands in the air as if I was typing something. Funny Stuff! I couldn't eat right for about six weeks as my jaw would only open so far. Lots of soup and sandwhiches smashed down to an edible size.
UncleHenry
Yeah, I got that now. The day before my 18th birthday and I can't do, or eat anything normal.
KIBeast
I forgot to add that the suregeon only removed three of my wisdom teeth. He said that one of them was close to a nerve and would be risking nerve damage and since it wasn't bothering me anyway, he would just leave it alone. Meaning that some day I might have to have that one removed.
HabloRM
My dad had his wisdom teeth pulled. Only thing he ate for two weeks was Jell-O and ice cream.
