Alien Seed
Theme Park Management is a major?
TRTR Guy
Didn't know theme park management was a major.
TheKlockster
Yeah - didn't Siebert have to major in something else like Electronic Media or something obsure to land his job? Oh well - guess it depends on the college.
Alien Seed
As far as I can tell, a college education in business or something else like that looks good on the resume, but it's far from being required.
Captain Nemo
Wow, soon enough there will be a major for washing car's. It is good that there are more subjects in collage to major in. This is a first, I have never know that there was one like that.
TRTR Guy
For the most part the higher ups at PKI/ Paramount Parks are business majors.

That's great! I know of a school in Florida that offers a similar program. Where do you go?
Ben
I would rather work at Cedar Point. Kings Island would be fun to work at though.
HabloRM
I like the housing option that CP has, I think that would be neat if we had that at our park.

Vortex
If Kings Island had housing I would have worked their in the late 80s to 1994.
HabloRM
Well I'm hoping that they do the housing option, since they're building a new hotel.
FOFzySUPer
Do know how much gas that would save me? I drive 45 minutes there and back everyday during the summer. I fear I will fall asleep driving home one of these days.
TheRickster
Ive heard cp's housing policy is kinda weird. They control alot of stuff like what time you have to be in your house by etc. Its just what I've heard though. Also Cedar Point employee's get paid ALOT less because of the housing. Their sup's are pki's starters pay at $6.50.
emonun
I love PKI, if you really want to know what work is like, I would have to say for all the complaining I might of done it was an awesome expirience at KI. Also I think that last year was an exception to the rule. I encourage you to work at KI because it is a good environment with a lot of different people that usually all get along. Maybe i'm niave but I saw little to almost no cliqage (is that a word) and we all mostly got a long. Your either greatly loved or greatly hated at the park. Few are hated though because its all just about being an easy going or at least a normal or slightly off kilt person when you work there.
