January 30, 200521 yr Hi, I am a current Cedar Point employee, but am looking at PKI in future seasons. Can anyone fill me in on the employee housing and the pay and other what nots?
January 30, 200521 yr Wow, where do you live. I'm going to start working at pki this season. From what I heard it is Fun. There are many people on this site that i'm sure will fill you in.
January 30, 200521 yr Added benefits include free tickets, funcentive points, experience, and great friends. See the other topics for more info.
January 30, 200521 yr Author I'm majoring in Theme Park Management so I want a lot of experience, but I may jsut stay in Cedar Fair and try to work my way up.
January 30, 200521 yr Yeah - didn't Siebert have to major in something else like Electronic Media or something obsure to land his job? Oh well - guess it depends on the college.
January 30, 200521 yr As far as I can tell, a college education in business or something else like that looks good on the resume, but it's far from being required.
January 30, 200521 yr Wow, soon enough there will be a major for washing car's. It is good that there are more subjects in collage to major in. This is a first, I have never know that there was one like that.
January 30, 200521 yr Were getting a bit . For info on jobs at pki you should go to pki's website. www.pki.com

January 30, 200521 yr I would rather work at Cedar Point. Kings Island would be fun to work at though.
January 30, 200521 yr I like the housing option that CP has, I think that would be neat if we had that at our park.
January 30, 200521 yr I like the housing option that CP has, I think that would be neat if we had that at our park. My point exactly.
January 31, 200521 yr Well I'm hoping that they do the housing option, since they're building a new hotel.
February 7, 200521 yr Do know how much gas that would save me? I drive 45 minutes there and back everyday during the summer. I fear I will fall asleep driving home one of these days.
February 7, 200521 yr Ive heard cp's housing policy is kinda weird. They control alot of stuff like what time you have to be in your house by etc. Its just what I've heard though. Also Cedar Point employee's get paid ALOT less because of the housing. Their sup's are pki's starters pay at $6.50.
February 7, 200521 yr I love PKI, if you really want to know what work is like, I would have to say for all the complaining I might of done it was an awesome expirience at KI. Also I think that last year was an exception to the rule. I encourage you to work at KI because it is a good environment with a lot of different people that usually all get along. Maybe i'm niave but I saw little to almost no cliqage (is that a word) and we all mostly got a long. Your either greatly loved or greatly hated at the park. Few are hated though because its all just about being an easy going or at least a normal or slightly off kilt person when you work there.
