Does anyone know when this ride is expected to open? I have a friend who is planning on visiting Disney this summer, and I haven't been able to find its projected opening date.

I Think the opening is in early 2006, you know disney and their construction, Slow, very slow....

The info I got on this is that the ride will be complete by fall and they have plans on testing for several months like 6-8. I was also told that it will have one of the fastest or the fastest chain lift to increase capacity.

I think it looks awesome and when It's open I want to ride it.

I looking forward to going down to disney world and riding it do riders come face to face with a yeti I think they do but I can not remember this coaster will surely be a favorite among coaster fans and disney fans.

Just took a look at RCDB - MAN! This ride looks AWESOME! I haven't really had a reason to want to go to Disney before - but this is it! Look at that track! Its Vekoma - but unlike any kind they have ever done before. And it looks like it would be way better than Flight of Fear! And a $100,000,000 price tag!!?? Wow! I am blown away...

For $100 million it had better be a hell of a lot better than FoF.

It seems that disney is going all out with new rides, with mission space last year and now this it is clear that they are spreading the word on their new rides.

I hear IOA may be adding a B&M in the Jurassic Park section and if this proves to be true you can expect some disney vs IOA action.

Where are you getting the pictures and why would they test it so long.

This guy here told me. There is more to the ride than just a coaster that has to be tested and get to work properly.
