Yea everyone just calls the other lands Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley even though the official name is longer. Just called it Ministry (of Magic) or Place Cachee, or just Harry Potter but might need to specify Epic's land with that.

Yeah, we were at Epic on July 3rd, super busy and packed naturally due to the holiday weekend. Stardust was consistently the fastest experience of the park by far. In fact, I don't think the ride wait time ever went over 25 minutes. 

Universal sent out a survey to AP holders a few weeks ago asking questions to judge interest in Epic Universe AP scenarios—likelihood of expanding existing passes to include Epic, stand-alone passes and ticket packages. One of the things that surprised me was that when explaining the potential offering to add an expansion to the existing AP to include Epic it “would be roughly twice the cost.” It seems a little steep to double the cost of the existing two-park pass, but I guess they don’t want to overwhelm their already concerning capacity issues (still, in my mind I was thinking more like a 50% increase in cost to add Epic—that still puts a premium on it.)

The option I rated highest was the opportunity to purchase a 3 or 5 day annual package of day tickets to Epic at the time of AP renewal that could be used over the course of the year. (It specifically said that an option like this would require advance reservations—which doesn’t bother me.) No pricing was proposed for these packages but you have to think it would be lower (or at least no higher) than the current daily discounted price for AP holders—and, if my after 4p Express benefits would apply I’d definitely be on board with that option.

I think the 5 day ticket package would be the best option while they need to keep the total attendance numbers down due to the park's low capacity. Reservations for these tickets are fine IMO, but they're probably not entirely necessary. Doubling pass prices would not be a good move. Maybe if they add a 3-4 park pass in 2027 (the discrepancy being whether to include Volcano Bay or not) then it could work, though I'd keep the 2-park pass as-is since it'd still be relatively "affordable" for families and people who don't live in Florida. 

If the recent rumblings of a second Universal Orlando waterpark or a dedicated Orlando Universal Kids' Resort were to come true then I would say double the price. It's too early after Epic's opening to open a whole new park or a second City Walk, but Universal does what they want. Maybe they could use one of the big expansion plots to build a cheap-ish but better executed DinoLand-style expansion. That might help with a little bit of capacity until they can build proper expansions. Heck, they could put in a pair of B&M Family Inverts for a new Dueling Dragons for some cheap nostalgia points and capacity.

Hello, I am planning a trip to Epic Universe unfortunately I am going to only get one day at the park and know I really want to ride Stardust, and Ministry. So far I was planning to start my day out riding Ministry is this the best way to start the day or would you wait till later. I am also hoping to ride Curse of The Werewolf and Monsters Unchained.

I am planning to go October 17th and any advice or recommendations is really appreciated.

If you are going on 10/17 which is Saturday, it will be quite busy. Sunday would be better if possible. Stardust Racer can wait until later. Ministry and Mario Kart will be the busiest. Unfortunately, they are opposite side of the park. I would do Ministry first. Harry Potter area does get busy early but not like Nintendo area.

Most people head over to Super Nintendo World at first. Mine Cart Madness is rather unique. If you like Dunkey Kong Country, this coaster is a must. Mario Kart is a must ride. This is a fun section.

Dark Universe is the least busy section. You should be able to ride both Curse and Frankenstein rather easily.

Stardust Racer can wait. This is a relatively high capacity coaster. I prefer Green side over Yellow side. Both are top notch coasters.

How to Train Your Dragon area is interesting. Hiccup's Wing Glider is not a bad coaster. Many interesting costumes here like Harry Potter area.

It may be difficult to ride all these on Saturdays in October. We usually go on Sundays because of this. You will likely need Express passes. This park does not have many attractions, so that the lines get quite long.

Have a good visit there. It was worth the visit to ride Stardust Racer. So far, my son and I have been on the coaster 10 times. I rate the green side my favorite in FL over Velocicoaster.

Ministry usually has a significant line drop later on in the day, especially with HHN going on, I think rope dropping Ministry isn't a terribly bad idea. After that you really probably will want to rush to nintendo for their attractions before spreading out to the rest of the park. SDR usually has a pretty quick line, go front seat on the green side! I always ask for my seat and I have not been rejected in the 15+ times I've been to the park since opening. Curse of the Werewolf is way more enjoyable in the evening when you can properly enjoy the effects, Monsters is arguably my favorite dark ride period. Definitely try to get an exterior seat! What kind of food are you looking for?

For food I was looking at dark universe I saw the darkmoor black wings and the bird on a stake both looked good and I am leaning towards getting that. I wasn't impressed really with the Super Mario food except for that meatball which looked fantastic. Is there anything you recommend? Also do they have anything like the Sweet Spot at KI?

Unfortunately we are going on a Friday which I feel may be even crazier, but it is just how it worked in our unfortunately we are flying out on Sunday,
