SonofBaconator
Short answer? Yes, it would be cool to see.
BeeastFarmer
Haunt? Absolutely not. The event is watered down as is. And you'd have those old farts, the pesky neighbors, complaining even more. Winterfest? Maaaaybe. But the park is only open for a few hours and it's cold(ish). I'd like to see drones on New Year's Eve, but I just don't think it's feasible the other nights. DJSkyFoxx
I think a Haunt drone show would be neat. They could still do it around 10PM and then proceed with the rest of the night until 12-1 or however late they will keep Haunt going. That way if folks choose to leave after the drone show that gives them sort of an out and for those who choose to stay later, can.

That’s an interesting idea- space stuff out as a means to try and control crowds.

How does adding something water it down, and there used to be fireworks at Winterfest, so why not a closing drone show? They could do it between the last 2 skate times while the rink is essentially empty. Right after the 8:30-9 resurface like at 8:45 as the parade hits its final show stop. Might keep people in place a bit more so parade units could return to storage easier. Make it less “fountain dependent” but still do some lasers and projections on the ice/tower. Regarding the potential implementation of a drone show at the park during the "Haunt" event, it is my assessment that such an addition would likely enhance the event's appeal to younger audiences, thereby rendering it more "family friendly." The proposed drone show at 10 PM, without traditional fireworks to mitigate disturbances to local residents, will inevitably prompt dissatisfaction among passholders. Furthermore, the entrenched visitor behavior of departing the park post-show suggests that the introduction of a drone show could inadvertently lead to earlier park closures, as the audience might vacate the premises upon its conclusion. Anything they can do to close earlier, they will. In the context of WinterFest, a drone show conducted three nights per week appears excessive. Given the event's extensive illumination displays, the introduction of drone shows might contribute to sensory overload. This scenario underscores the adage that "less is more." Conversely, the integration of a drone show with fireworks on New Year's Eve could provide a compelling spectacle, symbolically bridging the transition between the old and new years. It is my contention that while the inclusion of drones alongside fireworks is becoming increasingly expected, the latter can still stand alone effectively. However, the practical consideration of battery performance in cold weather must be addressed to ensure the viability of drone operations in winter conditions. Would be interesting to see the learnings from that as the night version was very cringey trying to be a “scary Disney parade with catchy nightmare song”
