Hblue2024
Hi. I went to the serve safe training today. We did a practice on a computer for working the cashiers. I am wondering when I go there for my first actual work day if they will train you more on how use the register, and if they’ll help you out on what to say to customers so you don’t get written up if you forget to say something. This is my first job so I kind of know what to expect from the onboarding and stuff but was wondering about these things.
Snowball
This would definitely be a question for your supervisor or for associate services.
silver2005
I worked food back in 2004 (RT Potato Works), and I was trained on food prep before anything with register (I know this was under Paramount, but it seems logical to expect similar training as I had that at Skyline as well). Register takes a little time to pick up due to knowing how all the buttons work, but it's something that you'll get down with practice. I think the more challenging aspect of register is guest interaction over the actual machine.
Orion-XL200
There used to be a group on Facebook for KI Team members.....if anyone can find that, it may you best bet and get the correct information you seek.
