If they do, I'd guess it probably won't be for a season or two. It's kind of upsetting.

Well, someone told me that that section would be Happy Day's patio extention. I do not know if that is going to hold true since they already have a patio, but I think that it also could be something for IJST. Never know though until they do it. I however, think that they will not leave that unsightly mess there for too long... laugh.gifhuh.gif

I sure hope they put something good there, it would be sad(well, sadder than it already is anyway) if they just left it, but I'm sure they wouldn't waste space like that.

Well from knowing very little of what I do about laying sod or seed down to grow grass, I know that whenever you want to grow grass, you put a nice 1"-2" of a good layer of fresh, ground dirt, making it as smooth as possible. From the looks of this picture, it looks like they plan on putting something in there- GRASS!!

i heard its supposed to be all new cars if anything, so maybe not, plus with gas so high, ehhh, prolly not going to be gas powered!

I don`t know if there is enough room on the old Flyers spot for a new Jump2. I think a better location for that ride would be the old Flight COmmander spot. That area already has a nice queue area that could be reused with some work. I just think because that pad sits above the midway, it would make a great location to sit back and watch the ride run from the midway. Hopefully they will utilize that location for a new ride in the near future.

Poor Flyers. At least they are at a good home.

I was told that area would be for the 50's cars showcase plus a patio expansion.

DUH! EVERYONE knows that that area is where the Secret Giga Coaster is going that PKI is keeping under wraps but will be unveiling mid-season!! Either it's called King Kobra II: The Sequel or Titanic: Jack's Revenge laugh.gif

But I think we're really ignoring the big story here. . . which is that they tooked out TRTR!!!!! It's not on any of the pictures that cut off at The Vortex tongue.gif

In all seriousness, though, I think it's kinda lame to remove a ride that had been at the park for years and just put a sign in there that takes up, what, 2 feet? At least put up some fences and LIE TO US that there's some progress there :-)

I know that they aren't just going to leave it like that. If they do, that's pretty pathetic. The patio and 50's cars is a cool idea, but please don't just put grass there. The idea of the Eagles being replaced with grass makes me kind of sick.

They might take the tiques and supe them up and add them as scenery.

The old Tiques as scenery? I don`t think so. And yes, I think the Eagles spot will end up being a big grassy area. Similar to what the former location of the salt water circuis has become. But hey, that is better than what has become of the olf Flight Commander spot, a bunch of pay attractions scattered on ugly concrete.

or a round up, or something, ha ha, double shot. something, but i dont quite think a Jump 2 would fit, yet, i havent seen it so im just assuming... tongue.gif
