Oldiesmann Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 That's definitely not a good way to appeal to families... Quote
PKD4LIFE Posted June 29, 2005 Author Posted June 29, 2005 I know. It makes the toodlers sad. lol! Heres another one. This was a picture taken on June 8th 2005. By now the ground on this picture is now leveled. Notice the construction worker. lol! Quote
Oldiesmann Posted June 29, 2005 Posted June 29, 2005 lol Ripping out the waterpark right at the height of the season is a dumb idea in my opinion... Nobody's going to be able to use the new attractions until next year anyway, so why rip out stuff now? Quote
PKD4LIFE Posted June 29, 2005 Author Posted June 29, 2005 Next year... they have a huge attraction for us! They are just moving the waterpark behind Rebel Yell... our twin racing coaster. They are also relocating the enterance to Waterworks between Hurler and Ricochet. Quote
PKD4LIFE Posted July 10, 2005 Author Posted July 10, 2005 Here a nice pic for you guys to look at. Comment if you please. Quote
CoastersRZ Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 And the point of posting a large picture in this thread is what? Nice picture, I guess, would have been nice to actually see the gondola on its way down. Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 I still say the one at PKI is better because it has a better color scheme and it rotates which gives you a nice view but I do like the Gondla on PKD's Dropzone and how it goes up the tower alot faster than the one at PKI. Quote
PKD4LIFE Posted July 11, 2005 Author Posted July 11, 2005 It takes 40seconds get up the tower! I just counted by watching it from my camcorder. Plus I counted 10seconds before it drops. It takes 4.8 second to drop. Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 I think you guys could be gettting a rocket coaster cause those things take forever to build and that is about the only thing I can seeing fitting in that space. Quote
PKD4LIFE Posted July 11, 2005 Author Posted July 11, 2005 If we get that... im never riding it because of my experience on HyperSonic XLC. XLC is way to intense for me to get on it again. Well... idk I might ride the rocket coaster because I've heard more people say that XLC is more intense because if its 1.8 seconds to 80mph launch. You cannot pay me to ride it again only if I could have my own Tomb Raider: Firefall in my front yard. Quote
PKD4LIFE Posted July 13, 2005 Author Posted July 13, 2005 Hey everyone... watch this video from fox news at Paramount's Kings Dominion!!!! http://www.coastercrew.com/foxreport.wmv Quote
gburn07 Posted July 13, 2005 Posted July 13, 2005 LOl are you trying to be a salesman for PKD here or something. Yeah its a nice park, but sure isn't up to par with PKI. And every day you are trying to 'sell' us to the park lol. I'm glad you like it and all but most people here love PKI and will continue to do so. Quote
Gordon Bombay Posted July 13, 2005 Posted July 13, 2005 ^Hes trying to seel it to us because hes banned from the main PKD forums. If we want info on PKD we'll go to a PKD site. But really, no one here cares. Quote
