King Bowser
All the people I have spoke with want an addams ride in PKI mainly because they think its such a great idea if pki put in the addams just think of how people would travel just to ride it when TR:TR opened up I talked to people from Florida,Cali,Washington,Canada etc.I would expect the same results but maybe more people because the addams are loved by millions if pki & paramount are smart they will add an addams ride so I will lean toward the addams family. I still think the franchise is too old for them to theme a ride to it. Thats not entirely true look at TOP GUN that movie is older than the addams but more guests/fans want an addams ride/theme than top gun. RevengeofTheSmurfs
I like many of you am holdin out for the addams family it would get to buy me a pass I can say that much. But I HATE ND that was the dumbest movie and a waste of time and seeing kids wearing those stupid ''VOTE FOR PEDRO'' shirts get on my nerves! I think maybe we will see a new paramount movie in action fx theater like *COUGH* Titanic...*COUGH* plus a new stunt show and the return of the NICK parade..2006.. KIBeast
Well, whatever it is, I hope it's more exciting than IJ:ST.
gburn07
Well most chances are a highly highly themed ride (Kingda ka is not highly highly themed) will not go the 120 + mph that a lot of you want, which is the only way a ride is thrilling to you. First of all that would cost way too much. Imo i think their next themed rollercoaster will be something not too far from the speed of IJST. If you look at rides really themed like this (ROTM and Rockin Rollercoaster, none of these rides go past 60 and i just dont see them building a mega fast high themed ride any time soon) I do feel that they do a great job with the theming with the money that they have as no park will have the $$ like Disney or even Universal has on theming rides. O yeah, sounds weird but I think Star Trek would be the next themed ride they would bring. IDk why but o well .
DA RIPPER
What about the new movie War of the Worlds, looks like it will be a good movie and a ride like men in black at universal studio's.
Gordon Bombay
*COUGH* Titanic...*COUGH* Thye wouldnt do Titanic, theyd be too worried about offending guests and not being sensitive to the lives lost on that accident that the movie is based on. A family park is not a park where you go to ride a 3d ride based on a terrible true event where real people died. Titanic the movie sucked. KIBeast
Well, I guess Cedar Point will be my new homepark then. I'm certainly not going to waste any more three hour trips to ride 40mph coasters. I'm not even saying I want a TTD like coaster here. I'm not insinuating that every coaster has to go 120mph to be thrilling either. Look at Magnum XL200, Superman:Ride of Steel, Nitro, and many more that go about 70mph and are highly thrilling not due to the speed, but the great designs with the bunny hops and airtime hills. Even Wildcat at CP is more thrilling than IJ. At least it has some nice dips and turns.
jlopez
I want a star trek theme only because then maybe they would bring back the star trek characters that use to run around the park. I loved them. lol Jennifer M

I would bet Paramount would add a Titanic 3D ride but it would be like a voyage where you would board a sub and take a stroll within the sea plus it was a on the concept surveys so yea. Thats good idea but I hear amblin bought the rights off paramount and gave them to universal.

That makes more sense, it would be like you are robert goddard and exploring the site, but anything themed to the movie is just disrespectful and lame. KIBeast
Yeah, I know that not every attraction will please everyone. All I'm saying is, if this is all we are going to get are IJ-like attractions (all theming and zero thirlls), I have no reason to keep going back every year. I'm growing tired of the coasters that have been there forever and unless they do put in something thrilling, I'm going to spend my money elsewhere. It seems that CP is adding the attractions I like. Gordon Bombay
^Different strokes for different folks......unfortuanently thrill seeking coaster enthusiasts isnt PKI's target market anymore....its families.......so family friendly rides is what theyre gonna put in cause the famlies are brining in the most money and attendance to them. It may not please all of us, but hey, its making money for the park.
KIBeast
But, thrill seeking coaster enthusiasts are not the only ones that want these things built. Truthfully, many in the teens group are interested in that kind of thing. If I wanted theming, I'd go to a theme park, not PKI. BGW comes to mind or USF.
