This is not so much a trip report as it is an update. I went to the park this morning and noticed a few new things. First off, the dome is gone and the eurobungy's are in. Secondly, the laser tag next to eurybungy's, is being disassembled. The area where they took your money and the waiting area are gone, but the enclosed part is still there. Lastly, IJST did not open with the park and I witnesses a roll back. It was rather funny and odd at the same time. The bad thing is the weather sucked this morning, but the good thing was there was no one there. I had all major rides ridden by noon.

I just got back from the park. Yes, I noticed the Eurobuingee and the changes to the old laser tag area. I arrived at 3:30 and proceeded to get a ticket for IJST. Our time was for 8-8:45. The time was hand written in and the original time of 1-1:45 was scratched out. The reason was that they were only running ONE train, and had the other two on the transfer track.

Anyway, between 3:30 and 8, we rode every major coaster, with the exception of the forwards Racer (we rode twice backwards). Additionally, we forgo Son of Beast, because they had just taken it down to one train operation and we had to return to IJST. I also spotted a possible hint about preparations for the rumored Winterfest, but I won`t divulge what or where.

So why even mention it?

It's also likely that you make yourself see Winterfest stuff. I mean, what could they possibly have put up this early?

If you are talking about the strand of outline lights that are on one corner building of I-Street (I believe the Graters corner) you are wrong. That actually has nothing to do with Winterfest. That strand of lights was put back up a while ago as a test for some executives who were at the park, they wanted to see what the park looked like when those lights were still there, they just have been left on since.
