July 1, 200521 yr What do you think? I'd say Tasmanian Typhoon, because I like the funnel, but there are a few other slide not too far behind. Edit-I meant Which Boomerang Bay Attraction is the Best. Edited July 1, 200521 yr by Delirium13
July 1, 200521 yr i got a problem with the surfing thing. These hawaian people come there and bring their own boards and take it so seriously. They stay on the board forever and allows people that have never been on anything like that to wait in line forever.
July 15, 200521 yr My vote went to Down Under Thunder, it is fast, fun and it doesn't tear into your skin like some of the other body slides.
July 15, 200521 yr I have a hard time remembering which rides these new names go too. Help me out. I know which on is Tasmanian Typhoon, I voted for that one.
July 17, 200521 yr I have been on them all I like Tazzy the best the other slides are really all the same cept those racers.
July 17, 200521 yr i have to say the best ride in the waterpark is coolangatta, but there are others, such as tazzy and snowy river that are right there as well. and being a lifeguard i get to ride them in the morning before anyone else, it awesome
July 17, 200521 yr That Snowy River slide sucks it capcity is low and it has a long line for a dull ride.
July 18, 200521 yr Tasmanian Typhoon is by far my favorite. I also like Snowy River Rampage, Sidney Sidewinder, Coolangatta Racer and Didgeridoo Falls. I'm not a big fan of the body slides mainly because I can't seem to ride them properly - I do what they tell me to, and my elbows and shoulder blades rub up against the dry plastic, causing painful burns. Awesome Aussie Twister is loads of fun though (once I managed to get going...). Two quick questions: 1. Anyone know why Bondi Pipeline isn't listed in the park map? It's pictured, but there's no map indicator for it and it isn't listed in the boomerang bay section. 2. Whatever happened to those big tall white body slides they had? I used to love watching people do the one that was almost a straight drop down. I'm almost positive they still had those last year (although I could be wrong).
July 18, 200521 yr ^ Answer to 2: Coolangatta Racers took their place. As for the best ride in BB, it's by far Taz. I don't ride water slides often (can you blame me though, I worked in a waterpark, the last place I wanted to be on my day off was there), and I found the slide to be a vastly different experience then other slides.
July 18, 200521 yr Thanks for that answer Jake. That's what I was thinking, but since I couldn't remember if they were still there last year or not, I wasn't sure.
July 20, 200521 yr Snowy River is my favorite water slide at PKI. How do you not like that ride???? It doesnt move quick enough and that line is a killer on your feet.
July 20, 200521 yr I think that Tasmanian Typhoon would be fun because you do stuff you are not expecting and it is very big.
July 20, 200521 yr Snowy River is my favorite water slide at PKI. How do you not like that ride???? It doesnt move quick enough and that line is a killer on your feet. ever heard of flip flops?? wear them in the park, wear them in the line, and just hold them when you get on the ride. that's what i do all the time.
July 20, 200521 yr We got to BB and we Rode Snowy River 3 times with no wait. And I do Agree about the feet thing.
August 13, 200521 yr In regards to the surfing thing, those hawaiian guys are friends of mine, and second of all if you learned how to ride the pipeline paradise you might take it more serious also. They buy their own boards because the park's boards suck. The day trippers crease them up and break them because no one shows them how to get on the ride properly. Besides it is better to have your own board, because it is custom shaped for your height and weight.
September 8, 200520 yr The only thing worth while is Tazmanian typhoon, and the 3 small waterslides that go real fast.(the one in the middle is a drop, left and right turn)
September 9, 200520 yr Taz Typhoon is fun, especially when you ride it with 3 people from your crew. Ha ha.
