BoddaH1994
You guys may have been wondering why PKIC hasn't had much to say about Beast Bash, which is less than two weeks away. The reason behind that is, ACE put into effect a rule that states that only members and their guests (two guests per member) are allowed to attend the event. Over the past week or so, I have been exchanging e-mails with Russ Johnson, the local ACE representative, asking him to open up the event to PKIC members as well. Unfortunately, do to reasons out of both of our hands, he was unable to lift the restriction. As a result of that, the rule still stands. I encourage anyone who is an ACE member who doesn't intend to bring guests to inform other members on here so we can get as many people in as possible. I'm sorry that we were unsuccessful in reaching terms with ACE, but this goes to show, if you're a PKI lover who isn't a coaster club member, you still do have an advocate. BoddaH1994
So BoddaH, Can I bring my lil one? he is 5 years old....other than that I cant wait! Yes, you can. Don't forget that your kid will likely be counted as one of your guests, though. Also, if you look at the schedule of evets, they are doing facepainting for kids that day. Yay! Admiral Ackbar
Well think about it. It is an ACE event. You think us ACErs want a bunch of n00bs and General Public there? I for one am glad ACE stood their ground.

Admiral Ackbar
I was going to be going with Mrs. Admiral and Baby Admiral - but it just isn't going to work out. Guess I will have to go solo.
CoastersRZ
I would like to go. But seeing as how that is the first of Coney`s last day open to the public, I will most likely be working that entire weekend (from 2-8) and the following weekend. Hopefully, I can get Saturday off so I can go. I`ve never been to an official event, even though I have been an ACE member since 2001. CoastersRZ
Well there are no tours of rides, persey. There is the lights on ERT on Flight of Fear from 9:30-10am. Then there are the lights on tousr of the two haunts, Maze of Madness and Psycho Path. Don`t forget about the reservations (exclusive haunt time) for Fear Street and Headless Hollow. TheKlockster
I want to go but I dont know if I can or not yet. Can somone tell me why the tours of the rides end? You have to be an acer or with an acer...
BoddaH1994
I just got an e-mail from Russ Johnson. He says that the park is unable to accomodate the discounted admission on the day of the event. Fortunately, most of the people who want to do late registration have season passes. Also note that ACE members get a 50% discount on admission every day, so members should be ok.
flightoffear1996
So do you have to be an ACER to go? Another question its only 6 bucks if you dont want to eat or what ever and just go on the ERT of FOF?
TheKlockster
Yes you have to be an acer to go... General public may not attend unless they are the guest of an acer. Regardless of whether or not you have the money.

BoddaH1994
count me out ACErs suck! I have been exchanging emails with Russ Johnson for over a week now, and he seems like a good guy. He's in a bad situation with the event. First of all, it's his first ACE event (that he is running) so it's not like he can go back on the ACE regulations, and there has to be some value to being an ACEr besides just a magazine and a newsletter. Don't worry, I pulled some strings and the staff of PKIC will be there in full force to do the world-class coverage that you guys are used to. StXsteven
I am now confused. The park is still open for the public right? And it's free right. I know the public can't do what theACEr's are doing but they can still go to the ppark right? Thanks, I'm just confused..
HelixSpiral
I know the public can't do what theACEr's are doing but they can still go to the ppark right? Yes.
CoastersRZ
Yes, the park is open to the public, but it is not "free." If you have a season pass you can get in "free" like normal. Otherwise, you will have to pay the regular general admission price. (Which I`m assuming you knew).
CoastersRZ
So BuddaH1994, or anyone else that might know, is day of registration for an ACE member, such as myself, with a Paramount Park $20 for the lunch? Has it been determined if day of registrants will be partaking in the picnic grove activities? Or will the reduced price that you mentioned of $6 be in effect? I need to know, because I might have to cash my paycheck on Friday to have enough money for the food.

Oh and remember - on ride photography is not permitted. You will not get away with it - so don't even think about trying. We had a lot of people who tried to do on ride photography at Beastbuzz - but of course they were caught!
