We all know that Hanna-Barbera Land will cease to exist. Many of the rides, such as TCTJ and FBB, will be re-themed. Others will be removed from the park. What do you think PKI should do with those obsolete rides?

Theyll probably be put up for sale and either bought by a local park like coney or lesourdsville (plans for 06 are pending) or a carnival.

I`m not to sure how many existing attractions are actually leaving other than SGC. Keep in mind they mentioned a Spongebob and Dora themed neighborhood in Nickelodeon Central. This could be the area of some of the existing attractions. It would be great if they did sell some of the rides, if Coney bought them, especially if it is a ride like the Whip or tumble bug. Those rides are classics (as are the handcars) and I believe that those rides can trace their roots back to the original Coney Island pre-1972.

They should be installed in my yard...

Or Italian Chef could whip up a good HB Ride over Fettucini Alfredo.

But you would then have to have the ride insured and inspected by the state of Ohio, unless it was for your personal enjoyment (although the state may still require that it be inspected and certified).

I wouldnt mind having that JabberJAWS or Dino from the HB marry go round.I totally missed out on the Smurf sale when they took out Smurfs Enchanted Voyage and that bugs me!

THats a good question, they could wither re-theme it or just buy a new one, honestly the HB carousel looks like crap..........when you look at it from the outside it looks nice but once your underneath it and you seee the dirty tarp and crap everywhere.....just one of the many minor things KI could do to make a better impression. They should donate them to Stikers Grove.

I say they should keep them there nad just re theme them to Nickelodeon but keep the old theming and have like a back in time day every year.

I would love to have the Hanna-Barbera Carosel to I'm just ****ed because I missed out on the selling of Figments when Journey Into Imagination was ruined in a typical Disney fasion I'll make sure that never happens again!
