not exactly mon ami, Kingda Ka consists of the Launch, an outside Tophat with a downward 270 degree vertical spiral, and a Large 100 or so foot Bunny Hill... but other than that, Similar, except for the color and location.

Also you forgot Storm Runner which has been running for two years with out a problem.

I doubt many people have actually riden both. I voted for the original, TTD, even though I haven't been on either.

I have been on Dragster and i have seen Kingda Ka in action but didnt ride it bc the line was so long! I love KK colors!

Looks Kinda Ka has the edge but thrilling TTD has the edge becaues it has the lapbars.

Storm Runner has OTSR as well as Rita, dont judge this coaster on OTSRs...

I gotta go with TTD because I like the view better from the top and the theme. I like the drag racing cars (eventhough they lack the fin) and the checkered flags and just how nice the ride looks and the view of the lake and park you get on the way up and down.

I have been on both TTD and KK. I like KK better because its taller. But TTD is nicer because of the lapbars.

Very good point...Excelerator (KBF) has been running pretty problem-free as well. (They had some problems the first season, but seemed to work them out...of course, it was also the rocket coaster prototype.

The lesson seems to be that the smaller (as in 200' or so) rockets seem to be a pretty stable technology at this point. The strata versions...well, there seems to be a little more R&D needed there

Has anyone even been on KK. Its been down the majority of the season. Ive been on TTD many times but never met a person whos been on KK.

Never been on KK, but I think Top Thrill is awesome. Also, I know this is a little off subject, but I finally got on Hypersonic XLC this summer and I thought it was awesome, a lot shorter than the two mentioned above, but very fun non the less. Explosive launch!
