CoastersRZ
Why would you say it would be a Vekoma? Vekoma is no longer engineering new designs. Instead, they are focusing on selling their existing line of products and providing service and parts to their existing rides. If PKI were to get a hyper (they already have one in Son of Beast, and I honestly do not see them getting a steel hyper in the near or distant future) I`m sure it would be by either B&M or Intamin as they are the only manufacturers currently producing reliable and fun hyper coasters. (Although Intamin`s rocket coasters haven`t exactly been reliable.)

Vortex
PKI will get a mine themed coaster ride that starts wtith a big hill and goes into a cave. This will be the biggest coaster in the world. Also PKI will get a Yogi Bear themed show. More rumors from the Past.
HabloRM
A ride could go here near FOF ,and Racer. http://photos.pkicentral.com/displayimage.php?album=54&pos=5 That space is smaller than it really looks.
CoastersRZ
Yes, it is a small space. But a nice sized flat ride could fit in there. In addition to the other areas where flat rides once resided in Coney Mall. It is definantly too small for a coaster, with the exception of maybe a wildmouse (and even that would be a tight fit). flightoffear1996
Do you think we could see something go in that lake across from the LaRosa's in river town? That lake was pretty sick this season with all the moss and whatever you call that green crap growning in there.
CoastersRZ
Algae perhaps? Well, Lake Como at Coney is pretty gross. Keep in mind that it is full of essentially Ohio River water! Every time the Ohio floods, Lake Como is part of the Ohio. Not to mention Lake Como gets a lot of gas dumped into it when the Bumper Boats are refueled! deidre1976
Call me crazy, BUT I wouldn't mind seeing some ground rides.....WE have great coasters and I think we could do with more ground rides. Maybe a classic TIlt-a-whirl, bring back the Tumble Bug(there is only a few parks with that ride left) The ride is at a defunted park where the ride is just sitting there up north here in Ohio. Buy rides from La Sordesville and bring them over.
CoastersRZ
Yes, a couple of classic flat rides could do PKI good. Although, a Tilt-A-Hurl, as we call it at Coney, doesn`t have the highest capacity. But if they were to install several of this type of ride, then it would actually increase the overall park capacity. I do not, however, see PKI adding any of these classic carnival type rides in the near future.
TheKlockster
Don't wanna buy all of Lesourdsville's rides if they really are reopening next year. And the water in Thunder Bumpers on Chessapeake Bay is pretty gross. It is the bumper boats ride at Holiday World. I think PKI is cool the way it is. Sure there are some rides I would like to see there - like the Jump2 and the TopScan. Maybe a new large steel coaster. But I think the park is great as it is. They should put in a Vekoma MK-1200 if they install a new steel.
CoastersRZ
While the Thunder Bumpers at Holiday World water may be nasty, it pales in comparison to Lake Como Water. On some hot humid days, you can smell the water. Unfortunately, people have fallen in Lake Como before (it is only three to four feet deep all the way across). Talk about gross. Is LeSourdsville Lake rumored to open up next year? Hopefully, they can get this park running again. It would be ashame to loose another classic park with a classic coaster! TheKlockster
Thats what I heard but it seems to be a rumor that comes up every season. I hope it is true this time. I need to get my credits on Serpent and Screechin Eagle - and prove that Eagle uses NAD trains. I already have the credit on Little Dipper... When I went to coney this year there was one of those paddle boats in lake como, and there were 4 people on it. Two large men in the front, a very large woman on the back driver side and a small child on the back passenger side. The boat was lopsided and looked like it was going to capsize! Then they approached that little floaty barrier thing and made a sharp turn to the right. The side with the most weight on it got deeper and deeper in the water - and I seriously thought it was going to flip over!!!!! But it didn't, so I got on the scrambler. Their scrambler is pretty good - not as good as PKIs - but its decent.
CoastersRZ
Yeah. There have actually been pedal boats that have sunk in Lake Como, from people jumping on them, or parking out by the fountain and letting water fill up the foot wells. I haven`t had to help pull the sunken boat out of the water, but it takes about six people to pull out a boat after it sinks. Hopefully, the park will be able to open back up next season. I`ve never been there before. Too bad Coney`s parent company (Park River Corporation) sold Americana.

Okay, Is Como green? has it ever been "BLACK"? Thunder Bumpers has. They are always scared someone will be smoking near that wall and toss it in, then all the riders right there would simply explode... its scary, Tram operators fear that too, people smoking on oil patches right in the tram lane, where there is a sign that says "tram lane, keep left" but they go to the right and you can hear the screeching brakes about half-way to the Spider!! TheKlockster
Well I got splashed really bad on the ride - and I didn't even want to ride it in the first place - but THIS GUY MADE me do it! I was so ticked off! I wanted to ride Paul Reveres Midnight Ride but noooooooo. Anyways I got splashed really bad and I was afraid if it got too hot outside my shorts would catch fire! I was so ticked off! I wanted to ride Paul Reveres Midnight Ride but noooooooo. Anyways I got splashed really bad and I was afraid if it got too hot outside my shorts would catch fire! hey, the water is gross, yeah... but just imagine if it didnt have the filter it does have... you wouldnt be able to see the bottom, there would be mutants... LOL The picture is priceless... I wonder who that is, and what would make "that person" have such a strange reation... I always get soaked on TBS, I have ridden it maybe 4 times this year, and 5 last year, 3 the year before and 6 the year before that. before that, I didnt drive, and I only went on it once a year, with my mom, or my brother, or alone to splash the crap out of them... If you do it right, you can get everyone wet, it depends on how you hit the waves, etc. Oh yeah, Never go to the doll house, I have nightmares... aggh! I miss the Wax Museum though... Lincoln anamatronics, Natives... FDR... hmm... nostalgia. --- Your shorts would only catch fire if you went on Dogems afterward, they are right across the path after all... its funny though. The exit of Eagles (across from revolution) leads to Rapids, Rapids leads to Revolution, Revolution to bathroom, bathroom to Freedom Train, Train to TBS, TBS to Rough Riders, Dogems to Liberty Launch, Liberty Launch back to Rough Riders... or you can puke it out on the spider, then go for a spin on the tiques.... all you have to do now is hit Funtown, which could easily be fit inbetween bathroom and train, and you have conquered 4th of July... Just go strike through Dark Ride, then Voyage, then HallowSwings, Legend, Falls, Scrambler, and Raven, and its a day, end it all with a free Drink and a Ride on the Parking lot Tram, hope you parked in the lakeside Lot, or you have to walk... KIBeast
I didn't read the other four pages, but, I wouldn't mind a B&M floorless at PKI. I've only been on Dominator at GL, but, it's a fast, smooth coaster with a heck of a loop and the interlocking corkscrews are pretty sweet. IMO, with B&M, you can't go wrong. Jasper
i agree airromeo4ever. even though i have never rode a B&M floorless i would muth rather see, Spawn Of The Beast. Thats a crummy title but it would be awesome to have a huge coaster lurking on the woods to pounce on unsuspecting guests.
Gordon Bombay
You can with Chang... Why is Chang so bad?
Legend Rider
Chang isnt bad, its just that it applies a lot of g's on you, and when you stand, it puts it on your knees and feet, so if you are a bit heavier than, oh say me, (Scroll up, Im the one in the pic) then it kinda strains a bit you see. Now, anymore B&Ms are forceless... its really sad... I have also heard that ShieKra is supposedly a "1-trick-pony"

Oh yeah, and it wasn't just me, I didnt care what we rode... I suggested we stay over there for a bit to spend time there... and we ended up under the lighthouse... sigh... TBS is not one of my favs, like I say, I hate the smell... I would rather ride Spider!! I get so intrigued by watching it... its so cool!
TheKlockster
I can't wait to ride SheiKra. And Chang hurts like hell - especially when you are large and you have a bruise on your leg 7 inches wide with a big blood clot in the middle of it - and you're standing with all the g force on your feet. TheKlockster
I don't even remember anything after the immelman. I remember the drop and the loop - thinking wow this is cool. Then I remember pain. I couldn't tell you anything about the layout - I was just hoping it would end. It did not make a good first impression for B&M... One thing I do remember is trying to take the strain off my legs by sitting on the "seat". Not a good idea if you're a guy. Overall - that ride sucks. I would rather ride anything than Chang. I would rather do a couple laps on Roller Skater or Taxi Jam than ride Chang again.
YoungStud
klockster, lose some weight then. Everybody else as a whole rate it the second best standup behind riddler. TheKlockster
Whatever it is called, it sucks big time. The park is excellent though. T2 is awesome. I got to ride it twice!!! And as far as losing weight - I fit on Howler at Holiday World... And that is NOT stradling the lap bar - like some ACErs have done... I had both legs under one side of the T bar - like you are supposed to. So it is not that big of a problem... Some ACErs have like put one leg under each side of the T bar - so their ass effectively takes up two seats! I took up only one seat. If I was PKIDelirium I could have rode with someone's son.
