GrandPoobah
Also Communications is a vital and totally unrealized (by the general public) portion of park operations. Amen
Legend Rider
Indeed the Communications Branch of the park is important, the people never have contact with them, I like to think the Operations department gets the biggest hassle... dealing with the stupid people in the hot hot heat... Pkirocker77
I had to say Nick Central. They are always energetic, and most of them are friendly.... They work fairly hard, and think about how hard it is to deal with little kids. You Nick Central people are awesome!
S500
I agree that Communications does get any love but I didn't see Ecology as a choice to vote for. Remember we are trying to keep the park clean each and every day. We all know the type of people that come to the park and for some strange reason can't seem to find a trash can or find the opening in on the toilet. Give it up for the ecologists. PKIWorker19
I shouldn't be voting for my own department, but I do also have to represent Food Service. Thanks to all my associates and counterparts for making this season at least bearable. I do have to go with PKIFoodGuy, our staffing was horrid this season, maybe just in Food. And, not being biased, I do think that we are the hardest working employees... now we have already had one fight about this and it didn't turn out to well. I have had people from games and rides tell me that we work our butts off just to make everything run right, and then we have to clean it all up. Its true, we do. Short and sweet... I am voting for Food Service. P.S. I am also voting for Eco and Communications and Trams... THANKS YOU GUYS!!!
GrandPoobah
Just my two cents, from working in both rides and communications, but I would vote for the maintenance staff (tech services, ride maintenance, electricians, plumbers, food maintenance, etc). They put up with a lot of stuff and work hard, and they're rarely acknowledged.
Jasper
Rivertown. Everytime i have been there people on The Beast and Tomb Raider are always helpful in every way. They always have a smile on their faces and are very cheerful. Without i doubt i would have to say Rivertown all the way.

SOB_TOM
Dude, my vote goes with maintenance. Just think, without us, there is no theme park... Oh yeah, Wichita Falls, Texas sucks.

DevilMayChew
For those of you that know all about TR's history and have worked at the ride.... You will know that someone very shy cannot work there lol. When i first started i was scared of having to talk to people Tomb Raider broke down so much during the season, that my guest relating skillz are now 'Whack' and 'Crazy Dope' (Thats what my talkativness skills were referd to by a couple of people. while i was guest relating) Go RiVerTown

Enchanted Voyager
For some reason people in Rivertown just seem much calmer and nicer than the rest of the park. I think it's all the shade they get from the trees hehehe.

italianchef
I voted for the higher ups. After seeing what Maureen Kaiser did at Winter Soar, I was HIGHLY impressed. Consider: 1. She helped organize the event - which PKI didn't make a PENNY off of. 2. Made an awesome presentation. 3. Led a tour in the cold. 4. Allowed competitors to speak at the event. 5. Did clean-up as in TRASH collection work. Professionals like her, don't grow on trees. Hence, I voted for MK. Have a groovy day! DevilMayChew
Yea, Rivertown is a chillax area, we were all pretty calm most of the time. I loved the shade , anyone who says trtr is alot of work, is mistakin lol...

Yea EwWwW i hated the fact that i was going to have to talk to strangers >.< I will always remember those pesky AnteChamber Spirits, and the serious look on ur face when i slammed the door >.< Also the 'Mary Had a Little Lamb' Jingle you used to play on the phone lol Tyler also once asked me if they had Pepsi in England All of the '05 TRTR Crew did a pretty good job helping me overcome my fears (Not Including the ones that were terminated) (Including those that were ripped out of my arms aka Capt. Discodude3737
I voted for Rivertown, because the employees there always seem to be outgoing and friendly. Hopefully I can be a positive addition to that area this year!
RingMaster
...what about us Ecology folk? No loving for the peeps that help keep those pesky bathrooms, trash cans, and pathways clean (don't even get me started on those restrooms)? Jasper
I was just wondering if on The Beast where the final brake run tunnel is, i was windering if somebody has ever cleaned the top of that tunnel. Everytime i go up the hill i always look ever there to see what all i can find.
DevilMayChew
Brownie points for Ecology.. Some of those toilets are nasty, i couldnt do it. My Winter job *While it lasted* forced me to clean bathrooms, i can honestly say it was the WORST experience of my life Each Ecology employee that has ever had to clean from around a toilet hats off to you DMC
Captain Nemo
Major Kudos to Ecology. In a way everyone at PKI should win this poll but ehh, at least I'm proud to be at Rivertown. Thanks for all the complements folks, I'll do my best to keep it going!!
marlfox_21
Now It would be very easy to just vote for your own area of the park, but I encourage you to vote for another area other than your own unless you just know your area is the best?? It's got to be MERCH MAINT.
DevilMayChew
Thinking Back to that frightfull night i wish i hadnt touched anything. AZ Kinda Guy
Ecology isn't going to be nearly as good this year due to the change in its upper management.
CoastersRZ
That doesn`t sound the best! The park has never been the cleanest park in recent years. Especially when compared to a smaller park a couple of hours away.
VortexQueen
i think they entertainers work especially hard, i mean i know operating a ride isnt exaclty something to have a field day over, but i think because they are out there so much, some have to sing and dance.. some have to walk around in suits, some dance in the heavy suits too! (Scooby at winterfest during the parade! it was sooo funny lol, god bless scoob) oh and all the little kids around spongebob.. o.0 i think they work pretty hard.
