RevengeofTheSmurfs
Well since PGA hasnt got any coasters or any darkrides I'd say they will get that spongebob coaster everyone wants on this site.
pkiboy
Looks like the web sites have a new look. http://pki.com/ http://www.carowinds.com/ http://www.pgathrills.com/ http://www.kingsdominion.com/ http://www.canadas-wonderland.com/
Carowinds2005
Actually PC and PKI has been "new" since the beginning of Winterfest. The rest of the parks changed today.
Gordon Bombay
Carowinds is getting thier Water Works water park expanded into Boomerang Bay, the only mystery now is what is PGA getting? A strata coaster that towers 500 ft is tottaly out of the question, if it was a major coaster, construction wouldve probably been noticed by now. AamieAndShawn
This is the only Paramount Park me and the wife have never been to. I remember going to Kings Dominion on a saturday driving at night to go to Carrowinds on a Sunday. 2 parks in one week end is cool. they are about 5 hours apart. RollerNut
I believe they will get a dark ride.
Delirium_Guy
I believe they will get a dark ride. Seeing as how they are the only park in the chain that lacks the Scooby Doo dark ride, could be a possibility. No doubt it'll be better than the dollar store version that we got at PKI. Secondly, I keep hearing they are getting the same Disko Coaster that PKI is rumored to be receiving. I'd be inclined to say that one is very likely, Paramount seems to purchase in pairs. Scooby_Doo
I think Paramount's Great America will get a Spongebob themed dark ride I also have a gut feeling that those spongebob darkrides will start to replace the scooby doo ones at parmount parks. Skippy
Here's some bad things about us receiving Crash Course Boating School as a Scooby replacement: 1) Our darkride count won't get any higher 2) The building housing Scooby isn't really coaster compatible (unless launch)! 3) This will eliminate the only interactive ride in PKI (although it only works half the time) 4) It wouldn't be included as part of the "highly themed "SpongeBob neighborhood! 5) This would eliminate PKI's only haunted house attraction outside of Fearfest... *Keep in mind 5 wouldn't apply if PKI were to get the Addams Family Reunion Coaster* I like Scooby, I find it quite enjoyable when it's working properly From what I hear though, we have the worst of them all because of the ride vehicles, which really is disappointing because they look and run bad when compared to the others as PKI's ominimovers were originally built for a scenic darkride (not a fast paced game). Our Scooby needs not replaced but really only an upgrade and more animatronics instead of wooden cutouts If PKI keeps up tradition, then we should see a replacement (unfortunatly) in the not so distant future, ending Scooby's stay at PKI forever! Gordon Bombay
PKD's scooby is so much better, I dont see why they didnt just re-themed some of the Phantom Theatre animatronics to work with the scooby theme, the carboard looking cut outs are dissapointing.
