AamieAndShawn
The baggage claim was in the shadow of Yogis Skytours. And I say shadow figuretively because the heat there is sweltering... Hopefully its gone... Thats because the bricks they absorb alot of heat so much so they will burn you if you sit on them not only that you can feel the heat from them. TheKlockster
It is actually a quadruple post as she got the last post on page 6. How utterly annoying! So how's that petition going to keep the name Beastie? About as well as the one to keep the Flying Eagles?
flightoffear1996
The park is going to do what it wants to do no matter how many people sign the petion. Anyway the kids dont care what the name is.
crazypkikid2005
The name wont change just because a few people sign a piece of paper.
King Bowser
True but it will let pki know how some people feel...like they care.

Skippy
This is ridiculous How can people still be complaining over something as trivial as this; a renaming of an attraction? The attraction will still be just as fun as always next year only with a fresh coast of paint and a couple of added theming elements I don't see how this hurts the attraction! Your making WAY too big a deal out of this. You must ask yourselves: Is the current theme really so special that it's worth complaining about, or was it just a cheapass retheme of the Scooby-Doo Coaster? The only thing changed on the attraction was new signs and the added tunnel, that's it They even left the photo booth as the Mystery Machine. So IMO, the attraction was always Scooby-Doo, never The Beastie! The only loss here is The Beast trilogy will be no more, oh well... GET OVER IT!!! TheKlockster
You make a good point there. It pretty much was a cheap retheme of Scooby Doo. By just calling it Beastie - they didn't have to pay any royalties to HB. Kind of like Outer Limits to Flight of Fear. And another comparison - Scooby Doo was the big cartoon back then - Fairly Odd Parents is the big cartoon now...
CoastersRZ
Well, I don`t think the photo booth was a left over from the days when it was referred to as Scooby Doo. I don`t know when on-ride photo technology came about, but I doubt it was present back in 1980, when Scooby Doo became The Beastie.
Chantal
why do they have to change the name? i like it the way it is.
flightoffear1996
To fit the new theme. It could be alot worse like the giggle coaster.
WooferBearATL
To fit the new theme. It could be alot worse like the giggle coaster. And We Know that Paramount is very concerned about Themeing. <G>
