Tonight was officially the beginning of the end of the offseason as the American Coaster Enthusiasts sponsored the event Winter Soar at PKI! Not only did the event include door prizes, dinner, an auction, and special guests speakers, but it featured a special Nickeloden Universe construction tour!

Guest speakers were:

Keith Chalpaty from Wyandot Lake

John Robinson who works in marketing for several regional parks.

Brian Kosmac, Rivertown area manager

...and of course the lovely and talented Maureen Kaiser from PKI's marketing communications!

The sign was taken out for Winterfest and should be back, so don't worry. I won three tickets for whoever was asking who won stuff. By the way, you got the back of my head in 2 of those pictures!

Nein. It will open with the park April 14th.

Indeed - she said all the landscaping might not be done - but all the rides will open April 14th. Also there is a 4 day opening weekend! OMFG

That Fender Bender 500 whatchamacallit is re-named as the Nick Jr. Drivers. At least that's what it said on the map.

Go Diego Go=that Hot Rods Ride moved over to the new Dora neighborhood

Jimmy Neutron's Atom Smasher=kiddie bumper cars

La Adventura de Azul=originally Quick Draw's Railway

Lazytown Sporticopters=Sky Tours with a new theme to it

Little Bill's Giggle Coaster=Taxi Jam coaster

Nick Jr. Drivers=already said what this was

Nick-O-Round=kiddie Carousel

SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom Bash=Water Maze with (hopefully) some new additions

Swiper's Sweepers=the Alley Cat ride moved over to the Dora neighborhood, too.

Timmy's Airtours=the orange and white airplane in front of Reptar
