standbyme Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 I always check Ebay all the time for Kings Island stuff...usually there is nothing REALLY special or odd...but this certainly is different: http://cgi.ebay.com/Lifesize-Indian-from-K...1QQcmdZViewItem I can't say as I actually remember this in the park...but if I did I would probably be thrilled to see it offered. (Does anyone happen to have an old picture showing it in the park?) Quote
KIBeast Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 I kinda remember that Native American. The auction said it was on the safari ride, but I was thinking more like the train ride. Anyone know for sure? Quote
BoddaH1994 Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 Very cool... they did used to have a battle scene in the train ride. Quote
Captain Nemo Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 That would be an honor to show to all your friends if you had that. Quite an antique there, I wonder how much it will end up selling for. Quote
Vortex Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 The Native American you see was one time fishing along side the Train Ride at Kings Island. I thought all the figures where gone but looks like some are left. I don't have a picture of him, but you can still see his friend the Bear if you ride the train. Quote

WooferBearATL Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 This Indian was actually outside the Cabin Where the train announcement talked about the Lewis and Clarke expedition. Right over by where you can see a portion of the picnic grove. Just FYI. <G> Quote
The Interpreter Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 ...and the E-Bay reference to the "safari train" is simply mistaken. Quote
TOPGUN1993 Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 The indian's hand is gribing something, it could be a fishing pole (he would be getting ready to cast) Quote
Jasper Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 ^No he was most likely grabbing his spear to throw. Or at least that is what i would be guessing. Quote
Snake Attack! Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 Is that bear just sitting in the woods in the picture above? That seems kind of like a waste of what seems to be a nice statue. Might there be other random statues just sitting in the woods? Quote

Do bears sit in the woods? Never mind...I am sure Cedar Fair will find something better for that bear to do. Seems to me, he is an underused asset! Quote
