I am planning on taking my 7 year old son on opening day *hoping for good weather*

I was hoping that processing would open earlier so we wouldn't have to do it that day but I guess thats not gonna happen. Can anyone tell me when I should arrive and how long do you normally have to wait? This is the 1st year that I have had a pass in years! Any information would help tremendously.

I checked the weather at the weather channel. Opening weekend weather is calling for partly to

mostly sunny with a high in the 60's. No rain or snow. This sounds great to me.

However its still way to early to tell if that will be weather or not.

Just got back from the park and having season passes processed. If you bought your pass last year and got a blue temp pass and had your pic taken, then you dont need to wait in line to do it again, just walk up to the ticket window and they exchange it for you. Also got alot of pics today. the front gate bathrooms were open to the public.(( after 13 or so years working there and going there as a guest i never knew they had bathrooms up front in the corner where you get your hand stamped for re-entry...lol)).

Just got back from getting my pass... there is really like nobody up there when I was but it was rainig. I also got to snap some pictures (14 of them I think). And if you were up there today did you notice the effile tower was runing.... and I also saw Vortex runing! But why would it be running... but who care atleast it was. The pictures I took were the new front part before you go into the park also got the Firehawk hill as I was leaving, got some DZ, and SoB and Face-off too. Just cant wait till next week only 7Days!

I got my maxx pass today. Today is training day for rides dept so thats why you saw them run. I saw Drop zone, Vortex and Tower run. Today also if you noticed that some of the signs have changed parking signs are new and the main gate area signs have all been changed. 7 DAYS Left.

I'm getting really excited about getting to the park. I'd love to see some of the pics you guys snapped to see any updates you saw to the park. (Geez, I can't believe I'm wanting to see pics of Kings Island, even closed!! )

on behalf of all us employees who spent 6 hours in the cold and rain getting recurrency training done this weekend, next weeks weather looks MUCH better!

and we've got the park pretty much set to go. almost everythings ready. few minor things to work out, but plan on being there next saturday ready to get your spring coaster fix!

The weather forecast does look much better next weekend. I am coming to have my spring coaster

fix. My room at the Kings Island resort is waiting for me. I will kneel down and kiss the ground.
