Sandusky Area Restaurants?

Recommended Posts

Having just returned from a recent trip to Cedar Point I can tell you theres lots of restauruants on the causeway and by the resorts such as TGI Fridays and the 5.99 All you can eat East of Chicago Pizza place and near the GWL are your typical truby tuesdays/applebess/max and ermas type places and your usual fast food. Panda Express in the park is a bit pricey but fills you up and is very good. I was very impressed with how many food hcoices CP offers both in the park and in the surrounding area.

I honsetly Like East of Chicago and Outback stakehouse.

I wasnt impressed with the food in the park.

The cheeseburger i got, both times (2 dif. days) were ice cold, and I was unimpressed with the cleanliness.

I prefer KI food over CP food anyday. Plus, CP has Pepsi.. Im a Coke person,

I absolutely love going to TGI Fridays at Hotel Breakers.

When my daughters were infants, my wife would go to the hotel room to feed them (my plumbing works different  ), and I would go to Fridays for a few Ultimate Long Island Teas. The really nice thing about doing that was we had Motorolas to talk to each other (we actually brought them for when I was waiting in line so we could keep in contact- Parent Swap- one of the best ideas for any park). Fridays usually always had a Tribe game on so it was my type of heaven- vacation with the family, watching baseball, with a few beverages.

Anyway, Macaroni's is also a nice sit-down restaurant in the park. Not flashy, but not dirty either.

Famous Dave's is all you need to know about. Behind Millennium Force and Wildcat outside the park. Best BBQ ever. You will thank me.

I'm glad you like it. I don't much care for Famous Dave's....I miss the Montgomery Inn ribs they used to serve in the Boathouse before the conversion. Something tells me Montgomery Inn is probably not long for Kings Island either...
