I don’t feel like they use the air curtains as much any more. Those are pretty decent at keeping the cold air in with the doors open.

I learned the hard way that all my favorite restaurants in Muskegon are closed on Sundays...

The park was very clean. Ride ops left a bit to be desired, but it was so dead (everything was walk-onz including ST, and WW and Corkscrew with 1 train each), it didn't bother me. I felt the ride ops were more deliberate on loading and unloading, like they never opened the gates until the guests left the exit, for the most part. The park vibe reminded me of Kings Island between when CF acquired it in 2006 through 2007 and that whole transition, minus the tons of garbage cans. 😉 BTW, my pass worked for parking and admission. You either need the app or have the receipt to access the add ons (I only used FL though, ate and drank outside the park sans water).

That's refreshing to read! Honestly if the park would like to complete a little renovation to help the Festhaus' A/C, I think all they would need to do is build a small vestibule in the rear entrance. Keeping the doors closed would also help. On my last visit I noticed that, despite the high heat, a lot of doors around the park were propped open instead of being closed with "Cool off inside!" signs on them.

Part of the A/C is working now was was better this weekend vs last, but not great. Hopefully by next weekend it will be back to 100%.

How clean does the park feel overall? I don't think it'd be very dirty since you said it was a light crowd day, but you never know. As for the new track of Shivering Timbers, I'd love to know how far in advance Six Flags ordered that prior to selling the park. I can't believe Enchanted would've had the time to order/install it when they've only officially managed the park for about two months.

There is an issue with the server freezing and we have to restart it and seems to happen randomly. The server was down for about 3 hours yesterday. I am waiting on Malem to address it, but there is also a new version of the forums that @Dane purchased so we need to build a new server anyway. My plan is to migrate over to the new server once it is built and setup. Hopefully that will take care of the outages we have been seeing. We are subject to Malem's availability to get it ready for us.

That is correct! I successfully used all of my add-ons at Kings Dominion back in March. The only hiccup I've read about is with some of the legacy Six Flags parks where people have needed to visit Guest Services because their add-ons wouldn't come up at a restaurant.

Last weekend my wife and I had to bus a table in Brewhouse for there was not a clean table to sit down to eat inside. That section we were in was not bussed the whole time we ate. On our way out that day there was a small child walking on the bricks in front of the KI sign at the entrance. The male adult watching the child just did nothing while watching the child pick the flower pedals off the flowers and throwing them. 😧

Next year... will be our 21st consecutive season as Annual Pass Holders, plus a handful of years before. We got food at Chicken Shack. If we didn't have meal plans it would have cost $26+ for each entree and drink. If we were paying cash, it would have been returned several times. Food cold, fries kind of stale, eating area messy, employees never give eye contact, rarely smile (heaven forbid), etc. I know management has a read on the various sites- our kids are grown now. We're free agents after this season. The lack of attention to the basics may cause us to spend our money elsewhere. There is a WIDE gap between the areas that do things well and the areas that absolutely do not. Ride Ops seem good this year. Food Service and Park cleanliness have been terrible. Don't even get me started on the restrooms (Festhaus, I'm looking at you....). I know the park isn't responsible for this in particular, the water quality is awful. The water in Mason is terrible, and by proxy- so to is the water at KI. I don't know the answer here- but. I'll give the park a gigantic "pass" on the lack of flowers planted in certain areas. Parents seem unphased when their kids walk all over places where they shouldn't be. Guests, clean up after yourself. Kings Island.... staff these areas or install "Cleaning Wipes" stations so guests can do it and not feel like they need to rinse off with Chlorox. It was just 4 short years ago in 2022 (50th Anniversary) where I'd say most areas of the park, from an operations level, were firing on ALL cylinders.

So the RMC bits have causes Shivering Timbers to run stupid fast as it warms up, which is good for the first half but bad for the second half.

So Enchanted Parks might be trying to make a good first impression. Despite it being dead, MIA is running all trains on the coasters that can. I don't think that happens under FUN or SIX.

Shivering Timbers got some extensive retracking from RMC and she's running much better than my last trip in 2023. 2nd half needs some TLC still, but it's bareable.

I am really thinking about taking the kids to this park. The Bat at Kings Island has peaked my 5 year old interest this season but he cant just quite get there yet. Im thinking the new coaster at Kentucky Kingdom might get him over that edge.

Im not sure this is realted but there was a group screaming at each other as we left after the park closed yesterday. The group was making my kids exteremely uncomfortable.

So I was worried about how my pass would work at the Enchanted parks... Got parking and entry to MIA just fine.

Why was the site down all day yesterday?

Day 1 went pretty well, though slightly not to plan. The drive up to Muskegon from Cincinnati was mostly fine, though, the final stretches are a bit of a hassel. The driver quality in Michigan really amps up in intensity (as in forcing you to do 80 mph) once I got on I-94 approaching Grand Rapids and nearly all the way to Muskegon. There's an aweful stretch in Grand Rapids where its' fairly curvy and the upkeep isn't great, and its still marked 70 mph. Ugh. Muskegon was hopping for the first time in my 3 visits. There was a charity run this morning, and then a minor league baseball game, which, the opposing team is staying at my hotel. I did manage to take a bit of a drive around including Lake Michigan beach ERT. So, I don't post about this often, but I do live with a fairly significant digestive condition. I've had it for about 20 years, and I'm mostly feeling good most days now, but today was the one day it decided to give me a headache, literally. I got randomly dehydrated, so I had to keep it simple for dinner. There's a decent simple burger joint in Muskegon called the Station Grill that I always stop at, but I'll probably leave that until after MIA tomorrow. I only intend to eat like snacks or similar things at MIA with a useless meal plan and their menu is pretty abysmal. Luckily, there's a fantastic breakfast only hole-in-the-all place in Muskegon, too called Toast N' Jams, another one of my Muskegon staples. There's another park by Muskegon Bay I always stop at and I'll do that either before or after MIA tomorrow (it's really nice at sunset). Here are some photos of Lake Michigan ERT.

Has anyone seen what's going on around 11pm at the pickup area? Cops flooded the area with sirens on and even more cops were arriving flying down the road to KI

I would love it if some of KI's flat rides would get more merch, imagine if Zephyr or Scrambler had t-shirts or hats!

I'm happy that PT:ON has a lot of merch! I just hope that we see even more merch in the future. Does the OG PT ride have merch from the 90s/early 2000s?
