  1. It doesn't bother me much at Haunt, because my daughter is too young for Haunt. I've noticed most of the inconsiderate people are very young I'd say 15-20. Most adults follow the rules, I know it's virtually impossible to catch every person, but it seems some employees are ignoring it completely.
  2. Yes. Not this year, not next year, but sometime in the future.
  3. It's Banshee season again! It's also inconsiderate smokers season. There's nothing that makes me more angry than walking behind young people disobeying the parks smoking rules, with my daughter. I'm a smoker, but only in designated areas, when my daughter isn't at the park with me. For some reason people think they can just light up in Planet Snoopy wherever they please, and the employees... They say nothing to them. Anyone else have this problem?
  4. ^^ Huh, I forgot about Knotts removing theirs... It wasn't moved to another park either. Okay I'm obviously barking up the wrong tree, carry on.
  5. I personally think Don's "Major Key" snapchat wasn't referencing DB's lift hill. I think its referencing the splashdown... I'm still not convinced KI is getting a coaster, I think it's more likely KI will get a flat. As I stated earlier, keep a close eye on Dorney Parks removed Screamin Swing. (Sorry for the double post. Internet is acting up.)

  7. I haven't posted in quite some time, but has anyone noticed that Dorney Park has removed their Screamin Swing? If this has already been mentioned, I Apologize.
  8. I haven't read any rider reactions yet, but WHIO, and WDTN are both reporting on it.
  9. Sorry Terp. I checked and double checked, didn't see anything on this topic.
  10. A lift hill evacuation took place at the park today. No riders were injured, local news stations are overreacting as usual.
  11. I hope that's sarcasm, seeing as how KI has three water rides.... I don't hold my breath for an Intamin either, but a man can dream. Id be perfectly happy with anything back there really.
  12. Agree it is definitely not worth paying for anymore, though if they can make revenue off of it don't see them making it free. Though they do keep lowering the price or making bundle deals with it. Also don't agree with people saying it needs to be removed and a new ride there. It is a great spot for a new ride or an X-Base extension but there is still plenty of other space to expand without having to remove something. I agree with both of you, It's a very nice walk to wined down from a long day of roller coaster and thrill rides (if free) otherwise leave the themed walkway, and a few dinosaurs and build a nice dinosaur themed roller coaster back there. Seriously how bad ass would an intense prehistoric themed Intamin be? do I dare say a Velociraptor Dive Coaster?
  13. I have been in the same situation before with a group ahead of me. This however was very strange and may have possibly been a malfunction, who knows? I made this topic with hopes that it was a one time thing, and hasn't happened to anyone else.
  14. My daughter is finally old enough to enjoy Kings Island! She was very excited to show her shiny new gold pass to enter Dinosaurs Alive. Unfortunately as we began to walk through jurassic island, we quickly realized that none of these animatronic wonders of the world were moving. It wasn't until we approached the fossil digging area that the dinosaurs started moving. Another family that was behind us actually paid hard earned cash for this disaster. So... Was it just a one time mishap, or has this happened to anyone else? (I spent about 10 minutes at each dinosaur trying to get them to move.)
  15. I feel like WHIO has had it out for Kings Island since the SOB incidents. If they really want a news story, The Bat stalls on the lift hill every cycle. Give me a break.
  16. True, there is plenty of room, but lets be honest some rides in the park simply aren't drawing guest to the que's. The Amphitheater isn't really used at all, and the only reason Vortex is on the list is because of how rough it is. I just wanted to see which attractions really wouldn't be missed.
  17. Which Kings Island ride would you like to see removed for future park expansion?
  18. I want to know whats being done with the Amphitheater. A decent sized attraction would fit great there.
  19. This ''Pay and play" ride is amazing. I love how you feel like your not attached to anything immediately after pulling the rip cord.
  20. I personally find it impossible to not get ''Drenched" on White Water Canyon. However, I almost never get ''Soaked'' on Congo Falls.
  21. Don's wishes should be respected. He will give us park information when necessary. He's one of the most socially active Amusement park PR'S out there.
  22. Banshee at night is going to be beyond epic, I'm excited to see how it turns out.
  23. Only those with current memberships to the approved coaster clubs are allowed to attend. So basically.....no guest unless they have a current membership. Everyone will have had to have RSVP'd and present a valid membership card at check-in for access into the park on media day. No exceptions will be made for those without a valid membership card. I have RSVP and have a valid Coaster Crew membership. Thank you for your response.
