After an email discussion with Jeff, he said that the Flight Team Helicopter Tours located to the right of Flight of Fear in Coney Mall will not be giving more flights. The attraction was actually not run by the park itself, but rather by an outside company which decided to leave this year for reasons that are unknown.

I can think of only one reason why the company pulled out..........a lack of profit.

Anyways, the space that Flight Team utilized can be used for a large ride...or maybe even 2-3 moderate sized rides.

SUCKS! i loved that thing! I was going to the helicopter on Nov. 2 when I left the PKIC group, only to find it closed for the season. now I'll NEVER get to ride again :(

I thought that this would happen over a year ago if you remember.

The worst thing about it was how you always had that chopping of a helicopter over head. It gets old quickly. I'm glad it's gone.

I heard that they took it out do to the amount of noise it was making. Local residents complained of all the noise. I am sure you could get some good pictures from it but it was very annoying and now its gone it makes PKI a better place to be.

I hope they put a coaster right in the place where psycho path is and use the flight team q-line or use Flight Commander Q-line area
