Live Interview on Opening Day

Some of you may know from my PTR that Avatar and I rode over to KI for opening day. During that time the high school radio station I work for was having a fund raising marathon. Since I was going to be at KI, I got an interview with Don to talk live on the air about the 2011 season. I put the audio from the interview with some pics I took on my phone and a few from Oldiesmann into a video. The quality of some of the pics (camera phone) and the audio quality is not the best since it was done over a phone line, but I think it came out well. Oh, and yes I got permission from the park to use their graphics for the video as well.

Please keep in mind that my target audience was for non enthusiast teenagers and parents back in Indianapolis. So some of these questions you will already know the answer, but there are a few for us as well. It is close to 15 minutes in length so grab the popcorn! I hope you enjoy it!

Sorry for the late reply...I was at work and couldn't get around to listening to the whole interview until I got home. ;)

I think you did a very nice job...it was fun to listen to...plus I did learn some stuff too! For example, the $5.00 fee is a one shot deal...once you exit DA you can't re-enter...but you could stay in there all day if you wanted.

I do have to say that I chuckled when one of the first couple of things that Don Helbig mentioned to do back in DA was that there was a "gigantic gift shop"...thank goodness...I was worried CF wouldn't think of that!

Thanks again for posting this!

Thanks Standbyme! My skills were a little rusty, but now that I have done one I want to try another getting some better quality pictures and video from the park to go with it. I am sure another opportunity will come up to do this again. Glad you enjoyed it!

Indyguy4KI - I enjoyed the interview and thanks for inviting me to tag along. I think you asked great questions for the target audience that was listening back here in Indy and hopefully it sparked some interest with all that is new at Kings Island. I hope we get to hear more of your work in the future.
