Also note, that this water slide will feature LED lights. Definitely a cool feature. Now if only GWL offered day passes during their off peak times, like the Kalahari in Sandusky does... Alas, that will not happen as they want their water park facility to remain exclusively for guests staying at the resort.

And with one of these slides at Great Wolf Lodge, I would think the chance of KI ever getting one of these is very unlikely. Although, its about time that Boomerang Bay receives a new water slide or two.

Well that about time has come and gone a few years ago, at this point I don't even hold out hope for Boomerang Bay receiving anything new. I understand why but as a waterpark fan it is disappointing to year after year few improvements or additions. Last time I went they where playing regular rock music like the rest of the park and that was the last time I went. Very unrelaxing, I have spoke up but there is little they can do under the circumstances so now we just spend most our time in the dry side of the park.

So the bowls and funnels are going to be miniature? Doesn't that mean it will be faster because it whips around them faster? That would be awesome......

Hopefully my swim trunks won't fall off; that's almost what happened on the bowl at GWL and it's a good thing I pulled them up.....ok, thats too much info........:P

I'm just going to stop talking now.

On the other hand, if they offered day passes, chances are the waterpark would be wall to wall people, affecting their lodging business. At least so far, they choose not to do so. They could of course offer a very limited number of day passes at whatever price the market would bear, but then people would whine about the limited availability and/or the price.
