  1. To be fair, it's been roughly 2 years and 3 months. And the thing that's ridiculous about the discussion is that it's seemingly coming from no where. In the last two years, Son of Beat's box has been removed, its entry has been removed, its station turned into a Haunt and its image taken off the map. Other then that, it has literally been collecting dust for two years. Yet somehow, people can still fill over 1,000 posts about something that's stagnant.

  2. Darn, I was looking forward to watching sweaty, bleeding midgets subject themselves to weapons used by state troopers on people who are violent and resist arrest. Oh well, I guess I'm going to have to do with sweaty, bleeding midgets violently hitting each other with ladders and chairs while subjecting themselves to devices used to kill rats and hang paper on walls. But it's just not the same, you know?

  3. ^In PETA's view, yes it would. As would seeing-eye dogs, dogs used to herd animals, animal actors, sled dogs, etc... Sea World does a lot of good in conservation, rehabilitation and education. This is just another ploy by PETA to get themselves in the limelight again.

  4. Simple Enough? Wow Browntggrr. You don't seem like the type of person to take orders from someone else. I am no way trying to argue with you, for I see the point you are trying to make, but I also think you are stretching this quote a little. I could be off here, but this quote is Don representing KI. In my opinion it reads more like "It would be inappropriate (for KI) to speculate on when a decision might be made. I do not see Don saying " It is inappropriate for KI enthusiasts to speculate on the future of SOB." It would be nice to learn something this off season, but I guess we will wait and see!

  6. As for anything I've posted, it was mostly about the haunt prop, so it didnt really come from nowhere. The prop clearly shows that something busted out of that casket after being buried. That is simply the message I got when I saw it first-hand. And I didnt spend an hour nitpicking every detail. I saw it 4-5 minutes while in line, and thought, IF the park was going to drop us a clue, this would be it. I never said that it had anything to do with the coaster's fate. That prop was specifically designed to provoke thought. Why? Who knows, but it has definitely worked. You have several gravestones of rides that ARE gone and two that have caskets unearthed. Do a little research on the one nobody is talking about. At one point that coaster was announced to be demolished and people thought it was history (as many of you think SOB is also) and guess what someone bought it and are planning on reassembling it. It escaped the grave so to speak? The prop would lead you to think that SOB has also escaped its grave (casket askew, shackles empty, death date scratched out). Like I said they could be toying with us and it really has nothing to do with SOB's fate. But that IS what the prop's message is saying, its pretty blatant to me, you dont have to look "way too far into it". Just look at this one fact, they took the time to paint on a death date and then intentionally smudged it. That was done for a REASON. What other reason can you think of for doing that than to provoke thought? The fact that its stagnant is why theres 1000 some posts. What I think is ridiculous is when people go to a thread to complain about people who are actually discussing the topic of the thread instead of retyping the same negative crap over and over. If the horse is so dead why do you still tune in to watch the beating?

  8. Indeed, but my hope was that perhaps one post could slow the thousands....a desperate hope, but hope.

  9. I am against this. People should always have the right to use cash for the petty things like drinks and so forth. If the employee is trained correctly, there will be no problem in giving the correct amount of change, problem with thief and and other cash handling problem. Just pay attention to detail, do ONE transaction at a time and the register will do the work for you and tell you how much change to give back. Is this Wally card just a park issued card? Does it have a Mastercard or Visa logo to be used any place where it is accepted? If not, what if they have funds still on it at the end of the day? Do they feel they must use the card in order to use up all the funds? What if they are short and need to do a split transaction with cash? How many people will keep a running balance on the card? It is one thing to use something like Scooby Bucks and replace it with a card like this, but do not replace cash as the official form of payment, which is good for al debt, both public and private. I see it as another way to increase profits at the expense of the guest that might not want to spend all of their hard earned dollars just to zero out that Wally card.

  10. Hmmm Ohio legislators have regulations that will not allow sweaty midgets to shock each other with tasers in a wrestling ring, but on the other hand we can all go by our very own bengal tiger. Wouldn't make a difference to me if they were using tasers, cattle prods, ladders, thumbtacks, paperclips, or tape dispensers, I will not be watching.

  11. It's a cross between AE and The Beast. I love the quick turning at night, when I can't see the track of AE, but when the moon is out, and you are on the crest of the second lift of The Beast, you can look over the park for a second, and see all the lights.

  13. Somewhere someone is laughing at this beast of a topic because the constant reaching for clues has made many look like a horse's behind. Can Humpty Dumpty be put back together? It depends how much glue you have....

  14. If the park wouldn't have dumped Scooby they could have based one on the Johnny Bravo "Ghostly Gardener" episode..."Jinkies, jinkies...isn't that a breakfast cereal? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYOjYb834n0&feature=related
