This is one of the 2 brochures that I have from 1974...I find it odd that the park made two different brochures in the same year. (Maybe they were geared towards different regions?) This is easily my least favorite Kings Island brochure cover...what were they thinking with this slogan and the depressing black cover?! Yeah, Happy days are here again...pay no attention to that funeral type cover! Notice on the left in the Enchanted Voyage shot is the carousel of mystery dogs from rcs' Classic KI Pics thread! I like how The Banana Splits are sprinkled everywhere in the brochure! One gone, one a shadow of it's former self. I hope everyone has a very good weekend!

I have noticed a vast change in the overall "tone" of Cedar Fair this season.

1) Introduce three of my best friends and my mother to Disneyland Resort this May. 2) Not cry during World of Color, but bait my friends into crying. 3) Take plenty of photos of us, not rides. 4) Not stress out about wait times, closures, or prices, but simply enjoy the short time I have with the people who mean so much to me.

Well said AZ Kinda Guy...it's pretty annoying. I wonder how better the food will actually be this season? Time will tell obviously.

Good! An hour during the week is very nice! I will certainly take advantage...will be nice to ride (hopefully) more rides without waiting with the unwashed masses, as it would seem that they may offer more than Beast/DB.

Hildebrant's tweets have been quite refreshing. They're finally taking down that hideous projection screen on Iron Dragon's midway! I think out beloved parks are going to start getting their charm back

I miss all the trees in Rivertown. They should just remove The Crypt and put a pond back in, and a log flume
